David Levys - New Main Menu Theme (DOOM Eternal TAG P2 Gamerip) [Koma Archive Reupload] 

So much this, while I also prefer the epic Mick’s main menu theme, I totally dig that one as well and find it worthy option/replacement that fits Ancient Gods + doom in general.

I don't feel it urgent or apocalyptic, for me it's like moving from the bottom of Doom 64 insanity and darkest ambient, from some Mick's satanic and unpredictable blasts of chaotic events for saving Earth as quickly as possible at any costs, to plain and simple Ancient Gods old school, Metallica-era reefs and industrial synth, where Doomguy is restoring his sanity, reaching his peak, following the ultimate goal with methodical extermination. And not just demons, but gods.

I heard from a pretty reliable doom news youtuber that the next game is going to take a completely different route. While eternal made you feel like an unkillable speed machine, the next game is going to make you feel like an unkillable brute focusing of sheer power over speed. I don’t know if this part is true but I heard destructible environments may also be coming in the new one

​@@princecharming3294 As it should be, every game should be something new that the community has to work on mastering. Though playing a Doom game without Eternal's fast pace would be weird, it's what's needed.

Definitely more of a 2016 OST style. I preferred 2016 in style/atmosphere and lore over Eternal all the way.

I’ve never even thought about that. I don’t doubt that Levy took inspiration from that theme. Levy and Hulshult make lots of callbacks to Mick’s work and the originals. The same way how Mick made so many callbacks to the original songs from those old games.

I think it sets the mood better for the Ancient Gods. In TAG you are literally meddling with the forces that created humanity and their servants, it could mean the destruction of all or the protection for all at risk. The OG Doom Eternal Theme is really good at representing the fight on Earth and the Slayers hardships to protect humanity at all costs, it captures the chaos. With this, I feel it's better fitting for a story coming to an end, which it does, for now at least.

He hated RU-vid with a passion and since they started to take the money from his videos he decided to take down his videos. He made a post about it on his channel if you want more details.

Never mind I didn’t realize his entire channel is gone now

@@mikasaabs4008 To add to this: RU-vid randomly decided to demonetize his channel because of the soundtracks he mixed from DOOM, but Bethesda THEMSELVES said they encouraged the soundtracks to be monetized on RU-vid. Koma was pissed off because RU-vid simply allows fake copyright claims to destroy channels.
