So you walk eternaly through the shadow realms, standing against evil wjere all others falter. May your thirst for retribution never quinch, may the blood on you sword never dry, and may we never need you again. Corax entry 7:17
"No blood can be spilled in this...holy place. Our time will come. If you survive, I will be waiting for you in the city of Immora." *David Levy enters the chat*
To Doom slayer, his journey is ended. To human kind, they are finally freed. To demons, they are beaten and failed. But to the players and community, Doom is eternal.
This song makes me feel sad With doom guys fate unknown we are only left to wonder what will happen next for the franchise He killed Satan He killed the icon of sin He killed the khan makyer I’m not sure how they could take the story in a new direction
the father will somehow return, yes he has no physical body or life sphere, but its a video game with magic and demons and shit. Plus you really think the slayer will not hold a grudge for the father lying to him? It is not done yet...
yes they will don't worry man, Hugo (Game director) confirmed that he sleeps and when new ancient evil awakes he awakes too when humanity needs him he will wake up.
While the second DLC was a bit lacklustre when compared to the first one, especially the final act, it's amazing how this theme makes it feel like it's not just a DLC ending but almost the final chapter of the saga as a whole. I think it's the only DOOM ost that makes me feel sad as well because it has this "final theme" mood which makes it so unique.
Hugo stated this is not the end. Not the end of Doomguy's story, and far from the end of the extended universe (there was mention of a potential prequel leading to sentinel prime)............ My main problem with the way things are at the moment, is the death of the dark lord doesn't wrap up the current story arc of Eternal, I was expecting another DLC but its so quiet for so long that it's starting to look unlikely. There are a tonne of loose ends, and the dark lord is not the "end boss", there are bigger, badder lords, and there are a lot of reference to Lovecraftian being and dimensions in the lore. Hope we get something before 202(fucking)4 anyway............. That being said if they decide to reboot Quake next instead I will absolutely love that - but Trent HAS to come back for that OST, and the meathook mechanic would be so well suited to Quakes combat loop....... Anyway we'll find out eventually, it's definitely not over either way
@@IconOfSin I agree I want to see the other powerful primordial beings in the Doom Universe but at the same time I feel like the mystery of them all adds to their coolness. Good to know that it's not the end though thanks.
@@IconOfSin I agree. Imagine if the two DLCs were about what happened between 2016 and Eternal, and explained things such as how Hayden got dismembered, why the first hell priest didn't have a guardian and how the Slayer already has a token to prevent the priest from surviving, why there is a fortress orbiting Earth, why did the Slayer's suit change, how was he reawakened after being imprisoned at the end of DOOM 2016 and whatnot. The Dark Lord would have been a perfect final villain for a 3rd chapter.
@@elgrandosmokio7882 most likely not. He said he doesn’t plan on working with Id Software in the future after what happened with the Doom Eternal soundtrack release dates and deadline issues I’m pretty sure
@@manspaghetti6351 I like Andrew and Levy's work much more but it's all come down to personal preference tbh. Mick's music hit hard and never stop while Andrew and Levy's music feel much more gentle, both are worthy of being Doom music but are 2 totally different type
No problem Here's a download link, since RU-vid has decided to start putting ads on unmonetised content: mega.nz/folder/6CBS0DCL#Ahp_YZg_H1ELkpVFlbw_rw
i personally like the new intro, it’s its own thing without being E1M1 but still has a call back. its just that the call back is a modern doom song now and its from my favorite track in eternal
@@wayfayerr It's not supposed to be a parody. It's more like a continuation of the main theme Mick made for 2016. Your boy got into Doom because of Mick's stuff, and I can even appreciate the classic Bobby Prince midis. Doom is Doom.
@@RacingSnails64 did you saw sheets? it's just copying under another semitone. Levy and Hulshult are worst Doom composers althrough they trying to be like Mick

That's definitely online already its called SOS From Earth - or its last track at the end of the megamix here, with the shotgun effect fixed: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TQBmpDaBIEg.html
It doesn't have a name. Intro and credits theme in TAG part 2, same mptif is used in TAG part 1 opening cutscene, so I guess you could call it The Ancient Gods theme. None of these have names though
@@aniketbrar4759 I shouldn't have gotten into this mess **Groans** If I say no, people would see me as a heartless scum, but if I do I might just waste even more of my hard-earned allowance.
I think the guitars sound quite different to mick Gordon, but that’s ok, in my eyes if the ancient gods used the same synths and guitars he’d used for 2016 and eternal his music might’ve gotten a bit stale.
