I remember Seaman like he is still playing for Arsenal and England, and he left pro football 7 years ago! I'm getting old, no doubt. Seaman was a charismatic guy, and a good keeper too. Best England No1 since Shilton.
@helleboye not almost as good if not better. Schmecel had a greater present and made himself look bigger in one on one situations hell of a keeper but IMO Seaman had a much better technique the smoothest keeper there has been and was always calm and placid.
PONY-TAIL POWER FTW!!! I would die to have as much hair as David Seaman had in his mid-late 40s, mine is almost all gone (I am 46, I will turn 47 this May 19th, 2013), just a mere thinned-out horse-tail compared to his. BTW You DID forget that sick save he made at the 2003 FA Cup Semi-Final match against Sheffield United, I am currently eyeing up that same yellow O2 goalkeeper shirt he wore up on eBay. I DO have the rare Gold (third) O2 shirt worn by the Arsenal field players during that match.
