I love the realer episodes like these. This is what brought me to Trash Tuesday in the beginning when they would get raw af and talk about their lives. Kudos to the producer at the end not wanting to try to navigate the ending.
Hard agree! I also listen to David’s solo videos or other podcast he’s on and he really has a great perspective that seems to come from his life experiences. It was sweet to see him hear out and validate Esther and Khalyla
It’s unbelievable isn’t it! RU-vid should know that not everyone is fucking 12! I’m an adult and I want to hear adults communicating not just bleeping out every other word. It honestly takes me out of the conversation when explicit language is taken out almost every time.
@@beamyd4650 the problem is if they don’t do it because of RU-vids forever changing rules is they’ll be demonetized or hit with a mature rating which will drop the rating and views also leading into being shadow banned
@@detail1090 I understand the intention behind it, but it was still really tough to sit through. When creators avoid swearing in the first 10 minutes, it feels forced and inauthentic. And I can't imagine how anyone can tolerate all that beeping 🙃
You really think Bobby felt like her dream man? She would practically describe him as a goblin and once infamously admitted that she wouldn't be with him if not for his money. And I remember in an early episode (I think with Theo) she asked if she would now be seen as tainted in the eyes of other men because she had dated him. She frequently gaslights Bobby while putting herself on a pedestal as if she doesn't have baggage of her own. Meanwhile Bobby from his end has said what contributed to their breakup was his not standing up for himself when she would talk down to him and the resentment grew over time.
They should clip the part of Khalyla crying about not feeling like Bobby’s dream girl and see what her haters have to say . She always loved him. Bobby was the one who let her down .
I agree and also think it’s not black and white. I’m sure her feeling let down led to her resentment towards him and that leaked out in the form of jabs on the podcast which people highlight. They both were at fault in different ways and no one person can take the fall of a 10 year relationship
I'm glad someone finally said what we all know about Bobby. Khalyla Was way too good for him and he didn't know what he had. But he also isn't capable of changing for someone else.
Even though they weren’t married he owes her half of everything that he currently has. He would have never survived had he not had her his life for those 10 years.

Dave may have an issue like me. I am a “mouth breather” so I can’t keep my mouth closed to be able to use just the nose one. When I try I start to feel like I’m drowning and have to gasp for air.
@@hevydavy So my husband has just the nose one and is a mouth breather too so he wears this band around his head (under his chin) that keeps his mouth shut. Maybe could work for you👍🏼
Honestly, David sounds like someone who's really demanding to be friends with, and his story about not inviting his friend to his wedding and then shrugging it off with "oh he just doesn't know his place" really rubbed me the wrong way.
This show has totally been a friend to me in my loneliest time of my life… (moved from the East coast to the Bay Area) A couple points of view or feedback on the David So episode (since I’m in the market for friends and striking out DAILY) What you all said about charisma really helped me realize I am way more affected by my religious trauma than I thought. Meaning I didn’t know the rules to my religion because it was high control semi cultish. It caused me to emulate the people around me in order to stay safe and not get in trouble. Now I have carried this on in my life and it’s backfiring because people don’t want someone around that “try’s” to be like them but in my head it’s just trying to find a connection. Just a point of view that didn’t come up in the episode. Thank you for continuing on and I love the new producer (Stella maybe) 🤔 I wish she had a better microphone. My wife is my "dream girl". I'm absolutely enamored by her. We've been together 13 years and I couldn't imagine a life without her. With that said, I'm fairly certain I'm her Esther (3.5).
I’m actually kind of liking the dynamic shift with Annie gone. Nothing against her and the pod was fun before, but it feels a little more grounded and honest recently and I’m here for it.

Love this. Real talk episodes help me get shit done throughout the day! It feels like family and community for real, which helps when I have to get shit done and don't have that family/community around I cam bullshit with while puttering. Also these kinda episodes have been awesome for road trips and listening together because we always have something we can discuss together throughout and after the episode. Keep it uuup~
I do appreciate David and Esther speaking the truth and I'm glad people see it, I'm so used to reading the unjustified hate for Khalyla from strangers, I'm glad at least the people around her know how much she did for Bobby and that he's a broken man-child.
