I was definitely taken aback at how much hatred he has for other Asian creators. I feel like Asian creators should support and build each other up... unfortunately not the case with some of these guys
@@ChangNation I agree. This David So had said many negative comments and or remarks regarding other smaller Asian ethnic group too. One time he talked a lot about the Hmong, a Southeast Asian ethnic who are also known from China.
I've noticed with Asian comedians, there's usually a stark difference between those who make Asian jokes that are harmless and funny vs using those who make jokes to laugh at Asians making them the butt of the joke
Team Nicky, her delivery was poor, but in NYC, the most racism I've faced here was from black people. I understand it's case by case but my husband, who is also East Asian, experiences racism from black people even moreso than I do.
I highly agree with you Chang, I was kind of anxious before 6:33 because I hope you were not just going to agree with him and call her stuff. I agree with the fact that black people wants racism to end for them but ironically attacked asians during the pandemic, but I do think that everyone attacked asians, not just black, it might be the result of media manipulation to portray only black people as perpetrators. I really hate the asian guy's mannerism calling her slurs. He didn't made much constructive argument except for the assumption that she probably didn't got attacked by cops, that might be true, but the other things he says were based on nothing and were just aggressive non civilized slurs and insults. I hate those kind of people because you can't have civilized talk with them, just throwing insults and, oh as I'm writting this, you said the word 8:50, yes, he just gaslight. Those people don't care what's morally right or wrong, they just want to appear right/dominant by gaslighting others. Even if he's on my team, I wouldn't like the guy, then when you tell them they are gaslighting, they'll tell you that you don't even know what gaslighting means, and when you post them literally screenshot of their gaslight, they'll just ignore it as if you said nothing and attack you in another way with other insults. But personally I did think that, yea all lives matters, and that's true. But I formed this opinion more about recently during the pandemic. If it was another time then it would be different context, so it's true that context does matter. But it does feels fustrating.

I've seen many Black individuals speak up against Asian hate and condemn the Black criminals responsible for a significant amount of attacks. This is gonna sound crazy but I SWEAR one of the first non-Asians I saw do exactly what I just mentioned was Al Sharpton. But yes, on a COMMUNITY level they have not only been silent or unsupportive but gaslight us at every opportunity. Look at what happened to Chino Yang in San Francisco, who initially spoke up against Asian hate particularly coming from the Black community and how the SF mayor London Breed wasn't doing shit to help us. He received TONS of harassment for this and several public figures made it their personal goal to ruin his life, even AFTER he made a public apology. @changnation you should do a story on Chino Yang to raise awareness.

monchichi, as an asian guy (viet here), I can tell you're just being racist by insinuating that only asians work hard and black people don't. You're trying to create a negative stereotype based on 2 facts: 1.The fact that black people are good at sports. 2. The fact that east asian countries exploit their workers and people there are forced to work hard to the point of not having time to build family and increasing depression and suicide rates. Different circumstances. Nothing to be proud of over working yourself like society wants, more precisely, the big coorporations.
