One of my favorite things about David Tennant is his consistency. He always answeres the questions with the same feel and reaction and it comes accross very genuine. You just get the feel that he is answering the questions truthfully.
"The Waters of Mars" is one of the best episodes for the 10th Doctor. Beautifully filmed, terrific special effects and, most importantly, AMAZING performance by DT. The Doctor is in a dark, dark place in this one. Absolutely loved it.
i stayed up all three nights and listened to david via the absolute radio iamp app on my cellphone. huge david fan and i love that i was able hear him all the way in chicago
Im sad that NBC never took on Rex is Not Your Lawyer...I want David in America!!!! I want to see him here...I did hear his "American Accent" and it freaked me out...but I'll get over it...Its like hearing Hugh Laurie speak his Brittish Accent after knowing him on House...but got over it...and love both his accents...mostly his Brittish one. :) ahhh....lol
The Waters of Mars scared the living daylights out of me and I'm an adult! It was the first time that I was really terrified of The Doctor and how much power he has! As for the pilot, it's Rex Is Not Your Lawyer. I dunno if there are still people who has it though.
I sincerely hope David is successful at any project that comes his way. The premise of the programme sounds naff to me frankly, but I've been proved quite wrong before. Blackpool and LOM for example - which both had been stellar!! Do note, time wise, coming over to the UK takes almost as long as a cross continental trip you're proposing. Unless you're really that keen to visit L.A.?
@bobjob777 though technically when the person wrote their statement, he was in America he was filming Fright Night here from like August-beginning of October or something similar to that. But he's since gone back and is obviously now back home.

@TeeveesBella I definitely agree. Hollywood sometimes tends to turn brilliant actors into jokes. I would really much rather see him remain in Britian and continue being brilliant than be ruined by Hollywood.
I would love for David to be on my tv all the time here in America, but I'm actually a bit glad it didn't work out. It just would'nt feel right if he were on American TV.

@MaximAule Don't worry. It was a half-baked idea for a TV show, anyway. There just aren't many great, challenging projects for someone of his considerable talent. :)
@GermanPeoplePerson That was like a year or so ago. He shot a pilot, (about lawyers, I think) but it never got picked up. So he's back. No worries. : )

@CaliforniaBlonde000 It's just that actors tend to become "stars" and cease to exist as normal people when they go to the US. I know, it's not the fans fault but still, I'm worried about David going to the US.
@geschreiben well I am guessing it is like Star Trek: it is an adult show but kids love it. I think some of the best Scifi is all ages. Besides, we all know that British kids are so much smarter than us Americans that it probably is seen as being simplistic and childish over there.
why's everyone upset about David trying to go to America? The pilot was never picked up, so no go to the US for David. I'm not sad or anything, but his american accent was a hard sell.
And then the new show didn't happen. T_T Which is a pity, as it actually had a pretty interesting premise. And, you know. David Tennant with an American accent.
@klbates I think you should deal with your anger management issues elsewhere. I have several American friends but I still think that the English surroundings suit David the best.

I'm an American, but I'm not gonna lie -- I'm happy the pilot didn't work out. David is far, far too good a person and too talented an actor to be ruined by Hollywood, which is such a terribly toxic environment. Stay in Britain, David! We American fans will find you!
