I believe David Tennant is just talking common sense, surely you can love an actor without getting into his political beliefs? Ps most of the world agrees with his comments.
I don't really believe that. Obviously there is room for me to enjoy the work of someone I don't totally agree with, but there are certainly things that are "political beliefs" that I simply cannot abide. Perhaps it's just because I am transgender but when someone's political beliefs boil down to hating the existence of my friends and I- or at least making our lives harder for no good reason... Then I'd just rather not support them. This isn't a jab at Tennant, obviously, he's not a bad guy, but just a disagreement with the idea that you can totally ignore the beliefs of celebrities - especially celebrities who could be using spare income and their influence to spread misinformation and hate. Thanks for reading my comment that bloody hell it's about JKR again cor blimey when will these transes get a new topic ay? Lmao
@@Tunlum reading up on the clans of Scotland, two names pop up MacDonald or MacLeod of which could be David's heritage tho the "a" is missing on his birth sirname. Same goes for McCLeod. Maybe you can clear up the mystery?
As an American, I can completely debunk this. We 100% do know and love David Tennant on both sides of the political aisle. But thanks for perpetuating the divisiveness that hurts everyone, 🙄
@@heatherqualy9143 Normally I'd be on your side, but in this case one of the people you seem to be defending is Trump, who is personally responsible for a not insignificant portion of the divisiveness in the USA. Also they said "people who like Trump", they did not say "right wingers." The political aisle really has very little to do with it, being at best a massive overgeneralisation of the statement they actually made.
