David Zaslav hates animation. Animation is not just for kids, it’s for everyone. He would be the perfect villain for a live action/animated Animaniacs movie in style of Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

For those wondering Zaslav is the CEO of Warner Discovery. don't let the order fool you Zaslav was the CEO of Discovery and it's Discovery that bought Warner under the guise of a merger because Warner was so massively in debt. now that Zaslav is in charge he has been cutting stuff from warner rampantly to get tax credits and get the warner debts under control (yes you can make a movie and then shelve/bin it and receive tax credits for doing so Hollywood has crazy tax law like that). Zaslav is a money man and since the merger is done he's been going down the list of everything wb has that's not turning a profit and bloat positions and kicking out people who are in positions because of D&E philosophy and bringing in people with a track record's of earnings In short expect a more corporate Warner that's going to launch shows based upon if they can make profits instead of launching projects because they need a first X in Y position. projects will die from low viewership, no more making or supporting a movie or series because ideology (unless the ideology is "make good show good show makes profits, profits keep the show going') if a show costs more to make than it pulls in its going to be gone (even if the show-runner might be able to say well yeah each episode is a drain but if you look six months down the line we start to make a profit on the episodes)

not true, the WB was already going down the shitter with most of the crap it was releasing on the network. It is no secret that Batwoman was a crap show as well as a lot of other arrowverse shows that weren't already finished. I liked legends, but even I thought it should have ended last season. He might have even canceled the release of the Live action PPG series where we would learn about the sex lives of the grown-up version of the PPG girls. If Powerpuff Girls 2016 were a shit reboot, then the live-action version would make that look passible.

I'm pretty sure the only reason he bought the company was to force people to start watching more reality shows and so he could turn CNN into his own little passion project.

Nothing ruins a thing worse than "gender/sexuality politics" when that should never be the focus. The reason why the flash movie is coming out even after all the BS Ezra Miller has done is that it tested well. I assume he will cut him and make sure he is replaced after it comes out. It is doubtful, but with any luck, we might get the WB guy to play flash afterward. From the rumors I have heard, there won't be anything like that. It will shift to "adult-oriented shows" but adult shows like cooking or art learning type shows. Think "Magnolia Network" sans all the home/house improvement shows. Basically, the things that would bring people to the network or get them to unblock the network. But even if it does become "reality focused" that doesn't mean it is a bad thing unless we are talking about "The OC" or "Honey boo boo" type reality shows that are mainly brainless shows. I don't know about CNN but unless you still watch the news then who cares? I think most if not all cable/local new networks are trash anyways. You might get an interesting fluff piece on a slow day but otherwise, it is all death and politics.
It’s scary how accurate Animaniacs predicted the future of Warner. It’s even more scarier how David is still the CEO. The guy is actively killing the company, losing tons of money, killing off a ton of projects that would have made back the money, and given himself a pay increase (while already being one of the most overpaid CEOs) and still hasn’t been fired. It should be studied how bad this guy ran the company straight into the ground.
I always thought that Thaddeus Plotz resembled Eddie Selzer, the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies executive producer from 1946-1963 that took the place of Leon Schlesinger. Eddie was described by Chuck Jones for being humorless without understanding the basic idea for animation or cartoon characters. He didn't like skunks or bullfights, and didn't think they would make good cartoon plots. Chuck Jones and his staff proved him wrong by creating a French accent for Pepe Le Pew and directing the Bugs Bunny cartoon "Bully For Bugs", which was about Bugs accidentally visiting a bullfighting arena.

David Zaslav in a nutshell I hope that this happens soon so that they can bring back the things we want to watch like Final Space, Close Enough and many other animated projects that he is responsible for canceling like the culture destroying sexist racist Trump supporter he has been proven to be. He will cause the company to lose everything for his personal gain because he is all about money and not the satisfaction of the audience.

Agree with him or not, you can’t deny that this man truly rejects modernity and embraces tradition. I think he’s making the right choices, myself, and I admire that he doesn’t care about pandering to any audience. He knows what works and what doesn’t, it’s all about quality entertainment for all groups, and that’s what brings in the most money.
