Boomerang was around eight years old in this dog's last show. Was into a young brindle dog around two and half years old owned by Mr. Howard Teal. I saw this last show. The dog used by Mr. Teal was off a brother to Bass' Red Boy named Big Mack bred to that very hard biting Medlin's Rose that Mr. Teal won a show or two with.
Another Great Job my friend. Ronnie done his first interview, probably, a tad more than 40 years ago. He was explaining that Suzi, sister too Boomerang, was bread back to her daddy, Craver's Pistol = 3/4 Pistol him self, too make Miss Pistol, so this is what makes Pistol Pete a little different than Boomerang, because of the extra shot of his dad Carvers. Pistol. This is why when his family were referred to as Boomerang, he would try to explain the difference.... He would say that "These are more Pistol blood" Womack's Mert was off Gabon's Ch. Goldie, of "Cajun Country" and finley, after many years, Ronnie, did his homework, saw what they were and brought the Family, back home too Cajun Country, in South West Louisiana.. Where a lot of History was made........ again....
Thank very much for this content because alot ppl didnt know about Gr Ch Boomerang n his importance to the Carver line good stuff very good thnk you much needed content thnk u again n mentioning some of the boomerang fanciers tht alot ppl are not familiar with!! Thnks
Greetings Schoolboy... first of all thank u ... your knowledge in these bulldogs is truly priceless... lol that widows peak told a real dogman a whole lot ... I see you left out the Tboy line which I consider to be best represented and bred pistol dogs today...
Greetings. You're welcome and I appreciate your support. You're There's right. There's so many lines and people that had Boomerang blood that a whole book could be written about them.
I Heard Snakeman tell a story about Boomerang and Zebo were contracted to Match into each other But it was Raided by the Police and the Dog's were taken but Money was paid to get the Dog's back but they never was able to Get another Match put Together .
Zebo was matched at 40 to 42 but Mountain Man said he really was a small dog 37 to 38 was his best weight. Boomer and Zebo at 40 or 39 would have been a war where both dogs wouldn’t have survived.
Bendiciones jefito I’ve been waiting for some one to talk about this bulldog I am super glad you did jefito 👏🏾🙌🏽 a few years ago I remember seeing a mini documentary video on Mr. Davis and boomerang very fascinating 🫡

I got a pup off of Abraham’s bull, which has queen of hearts in the pedigree. The dom of the pup is a pure red boy bitch. Bolio boomerang redboy, hoping this pup turns out like it’s supposed to.
Double bred on Tudor's Dibo. Dibo is really the foundation of the modern day American Pitbull Terrier. So many good ones trace their lineage back to Dibo. Dibo was welped in the early 50's and his blood is still as strong as ever. I'd say I pray I get a stud half as good as him and even then you'd have an all time great. Boomerang appears in a video where Baker Davis says "he was never close to being hurt" it was in some sort of documentary. i'll send the link.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aB4RE761EH4.html "His everything a man could ask for in a dog" - Baker Davis on Gr Ch Boomerang. Not one of his opponents survived, you were 100% correct Mr Garcia. He was a special dog. one heck of an animal!
You said it and it's all true. Boomerang was a great dog by all accounts and bear some top dogmen like Howard Teal. Also,he was only bred around 10 times and his influence is still felt today and there's bloodlines named after his offspring and progeny like Spike/Black Widow. I've seen the vid. Thanks for sharing and for your input.
Mr . Garcia , Do you know what town or city the Petronelli’s were from in Massachusetts? Being born and raised in Massachusetts i I’m always interested in the history.
@@abdulabdullahi3849 I believe he was a brother to one of them and a cousin to the other. Pat and Goody Petronelli were cousins. Tony Petronelli was related also.
I'm from Kissimmee Florida Google it 20 mins away from Orlando and when you have Mr.Davis in your program you can't out hunt them a real gangster in my book much love Mr.Davis you really put on for the 407!!!! Jack and being from Kissimmee Florida we will keep your name/bloodline alive cause real souljas don't lay down they fall down
@David-wq1um Because of their size they could have an advantage but if they were the the same size the advantage would be greatly diminished. They're bred for two different functions.
Good stuff TÍO , do you know anything about the pit island thug dogs I got a heavy inbreed female, so much historical info that’s priceless I wish I was a movie 🎥 producer of something like that I’d do a 5 hr long documentary 😂😂 thank you
I heard Boomerang was on B.Sorrells' yard for a while. If you knew Bert, he might've referred to many of his dogs as Boomerang dogs even though Boomerang appears no where on their peds.
I don't know about that but I did see a daughter of Boomerang on his yard when I visited him in 1983. I think her name was Miss Boomerang. I've never heard of Boomerang being on someone else's yard besides Baker Davis, his owner.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 I believe Ch.Raisin's dam, Two Shoes was off Miss Boomerang, or a grand daughter. I talked to him for hours. He was adamant about his dogs being Boomerang dogs, more so than the R.Sorrells dogs, in which he referred to as Mickey Mouse shit. Out of his own mouth, he told me he would sell the cake, but not the recipe. It's funny, because his buddy, B.Smith (Arizona) also called his dogs Boomerang dogs, even though the dog might only show up one time in 5 or 6 gens on their peds. LMAO
@Mark Ballard The fact that he bred to Miss Boomerang does not mean they were heavily bred Boomerang dogs as he used her as an outcross. Almost the same with Bobby as Billy was a grandson of Boomerang and Billy was bred to Sorrells Miss Boomerang so Boomerang would appear twice in that ped, although close up. Duhon's(R. Sorrells)Boomerang stuff was heavily bred on Boomerang, moreso than Bert's stuff.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 Well thanks for the conversation. It's been a while, but what I'm trying to tell you is that each of them in their own way told me that their dogs weren't bred like what they had on paper is the way I took it. I have my own suspicions. Bobby's dogs started to look more and more like Berts over time. It seems they got leggier, and the white blaze became less frequent. The last inbred litter I saw of Bobby's were bucksin with a really light buskin mask, forelegs and feet. Don't mean nothing I don't guess.
why did they inbreed to the point of physical deformities like bent legs spread feet roach back etc, how do they perform with them with those sort of deformities and what point did they start to affect physical activities
They did that in the name of purity but 100% pure junk is still junk. It looks good on paper and they could produce when crossed but heavy inbreeding has ruined more family of dogs than anything else
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 i've asked that question a few times and your the first one to answer, i've had hunting dogs of various breeds since i was a kid so i have no real knowledge of bulldogs but all the deformities i've seen in dogs have had consequences, i'm a bit of a dog nerd so thanks for the info it's helped me understand some things better
@Nick Sokaluk That's how we all learn. By asking questions and yours was a good one. Even though you don't have alot of experience with the breed your common sense told you heavy inbreeding has more faults than benefits.
