I honestly believe that if gizmo would have been a 3 to 4 year old instead of a 6 year old dog it would've been a complete different fight I personally saw gizmo scratch to the tv the morning after the bellon show when she heard mr.gray talking to her on the video
Hello my friend. I believe that it was February 3, 1990. East Texas cold night. Standing room only, outside if you can see it. There were only five events. They got started before dark and the last two got on the track at :20 till 11:am Sunday morning. All of them were in great shape... It was the first time for Mr. Antonio to come over the border to complete. Me and my friend Jeff worked "Iron Mike Tyson", one of the two male's in the last litter off Gr. Ch. Pistol Pete 6XW, ROM. Bread to a granddaughter. Mike went into Major for 3:57. male's Antonio brought 4 extremely tough individuals. All 4 in great shape. Gizmo vs Parka, a bone breaking Power House. At the:15 minute mark, Giz had both fronts and one of her back oñes flopping back and forth over her back in an unnatural maker. For the ñext two hours, Parka didn't want to finish Gizmo, she was enjoying be hateful towards Giz. By this point I had done some quick math and figured my friend and Gizmo was just a little passed 10,000 miles behind. Gizmo never saw any of this mess as a problem.. Like you said School Boy, it was around 2 1/2 hours and Parka made the mistake of getting too close to Giz mouth. Upside down and mangled, Gizmo cought that monster in the kidney and went to work, shacking, still upside down and Mr. Antonio asked Mr. Gray too scratch too win. This was the only scratch in the match. Giz, after Mr. Gray sat her down, flat on her stomach, looking at Parka, used her chin too pull her poor ol tired shoulder's up under her, 5hen takes her one working back one and flipping her tail end over her head, landing, upside down again,, looking in her corner at Mr.Gray. Who was sitting in her corner, trying too see what was happening. Gizmo now has too waller around until she can see Parka again. Rolls over oñ her stomach again and repeating the chin, nose, and back foot flipping over again and again, and again. Reff is steady çounting. Seem like it was taking forever. 16, 17, 18, Gizmo competed and right back into the same spot and went to work. At this point, Mr. Gray, still sitting in her corner, and Añtonio steps out of his corner, kneels down and started petting Gizmo and telling her how great she was. Standing ovation, Shiiiiiiiiit. Every one was jumping up and down screaming out of control. Chill bumps again. I have been too 10 card shows in Cajun Country and Mississippi, and bigger ones in Mexico, but this 5 card show in the Big Thicket was the most exciting night I have ever seen. Now I have to give credit were it's due; You know how someone can do something decent and it puts a feather in there hat. When Antonio stepped out of his corner and loving on Gizmo, it put a War Bonnet in his hat, with me. Much, much respect for the man. The professionalism of Mr. Gray, never letting Gizmo feel anything negative come from him and Giz, convinced that she was ahead for the whole, extremely long 2 1/2 hours was truly something to witness. Now you folks who are thinking about long, boring ass, drug out, laying in hold all night, this was not the case in any of these 5. Every one was in great shape and very busy. All several hundred folks were wide awake and pumped for the entire night. Now for the rest of this story. This was the night that my god friend, Mr. Gray teamed up with Mr. Bellon, creating what we know now as the Bellon Club. One of the biggest things too remember about this story, is; even if you think that you can not win, you never let your partner know what you are thinking. Stay with her cuzin, was all I could say too Mr. Gray, even though my calculations put my friend, at 10,000 miles behind.. The B. B. Red vs Gizmo, I think was the 4 scratches. It took longer to count the money then it did for B. B. Red too beat my friend Kenny Allan of the A-Team. It was:07 minutes, I believe. B. B. Red was a bad bitch. But I have to agree with Mr. Gray son, "If Gizmo would have been 3 instead of over 6 years old, it might have went another way. But this is what we call gambling, ain't it........ Correction. In the Gizmo-Farca match Gizmo made the only scratch in that match. Game as hell. In the BB Red-Gizmo match 4 scratches were made and Gizmo made a game courtesy scratch.
After seeing both B. B. Red and Gizmo at different times and I was offered my choice, I personally would have left B.B. Red and brought Gizmo home too make babies in my bedroom for the rest of her life. She paid all of the dues she needed too with Parker......
Thank You for another Great Video, that match brings me back to my own memories of My Ch Reggie when she lost in 40 something minutes against Ch Chewy. BB Red vs Chewy would have been something to see.. Thank You again School Boy

One more thing. Between the two, if I was offered either of them. After seeing both, I would have left B.B. Red and brought Gizmo home for dinner having babies in my bedroom in my bedroom. She paid her all of the dues she needed too, that cold night in the Big Thicket and Parka. Geaux Dibo..... Most all of the families who have "Stood the taste of time" all goes back to Mr.Earl Tudor and Dibo. This man was at least 100 years before his time, when it came to breeding and conditioning. He was the "Ol Master of the Pit"...... Go back and see how many yards came from Dibo...... Hernandez "Zeke" also produced the very important Womack's Mert female..... Most people leave her out of top female, and I don't understand why. Banjo was slick, and Red was trying to take her opponent out. I think they were equally great! The 90's was full of action and top competition...Good job
You're right and when you have her opponent that lost to her saying she was one of the baddest females he ever saw,that means alot. I appreciate your input.
It’s interesting that people say BB was better than Banjo. Classic contrast of preferences between dogmen. BB was all offense , whereas Banjo when I seen him transitioned back and forth defense to offense. The ultimate for me is one that can execute offense while keeping his opponent out of hold or in insignificant holds. The Texas Ironman told me that Banjo dog down in Mexico could do just that.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 How the hell r u! My thing alot of old-timers thought Banjo Benefited from his weight! Don't get me wrong he was dead game an incredible specimen,but there weren't s whole lot of 35 lbs to 38 lbs with the gameness to match his,,the 40lbs,n up That's where was at?????
@40 street black I'm doing well thank you. The high 30's to low 40's had alot of competition but there's top comp at all weights. Banjo was an exceptional dog
@@40streetblack79 I too am from the school of thought that some weights are hotter, and 35 - 37 was hot. Remember, they were willing to do Andy Capp at 37. My opinion is there’s less as you start to go above high 40s.
I feel it's in the beginning of the match can Play a factor in sum dogs winning as well like if a dog get up in a dog's shoulder in the beginning can play a factor as the match goes on where if they didn't get up in that shoulder in the beginning would they have won or if the dog didn't get the bottom jaw broken would the other dog have won
