michael fassbender just has that raw talent, tom hardy is another actor that has it. and when viola is talking you see everybody really paying attention gotta luv that.
Viola Davis' character had one scene in Doubt--the character for whom she wrote the 50-page biography. THAT is dedication and love and hard work. this fact makes me appreciate Viola so much more.
Viola's voice is so melodic and calming and the words she has to say are intelligent and giving. I love that everyone just goes pin-drop quiet when she speaks, she is a truly captivating actress.
I just want Viola Davis to come and read stories to me. Her voice is so mesmerizing, and she is so eloquent and brilliant. Truly, one of the best actresses out there :)
Viola is a truly incredible woman with a lot of smart things to say on Hollywood racism. I really hope she starts taking more control behind the camera as well as in front, because that is so needed.
Why cut the video to so many clip?!I think it would've been viewed more FULL and it would've been easier for viewers..Charlize seems to like listening to her voice, cuz she didn't stop talking in all the videos..so was George!Damn, would've been good to hear more from Viola and Tilda
4:00 what Ms V says about being comfortable with being uncomfortable is so true. When I was taping my vlog The Late Flight Show there were moments where I could feel myself getting uncomfortable with where the scene was going but I'd keep going with it and if you look at my face at times, I'm literally being surprised by what my character is saying as I'm doing it, especially in The Kate Hudson One and a Nightmare on MacKuertan Avenue. It also goes back to what Charlize was saying about "doing things". You just can't predict what's going to happen.
Warning: I’m gonna make admittedly typical male observation here, so sorry (not sorry) ima dude whaddaya gonna do? So here it goes As a 40+ year old man I’ve come to learn something through my life’s experience. There is this seemingly intangible thing that makes the difference between having physical beauty and having the aforementioned “intangible thing” and watching this video is the closest I’ve ever come to finding a perfect experienced example of it. Charlize Theron is an absolute knock out extremely gorgeous woman BUT Viola Davis is perhaps the sexiest woman I’ve ever seen and it doesn’t have as much to do with her physical appearance as one would think. Its kind of funny how no one ever really acknowledges this phenomenon but in real life it happens everywhere and all the time. Do you know how I know, because most people aren’t getting together with supermodel looking actors. All you fellow old folks out there, think about the times in your life where you just found something about a particular person completely irresistible and they just got you on that line from the moment you saw them, You know that person I’m taking about, Riiiiight? and your friends were like, “Really?” And you were like, “Really!” Well guess what, there’s about a 100% chance that they didn’t look anything close to Mz Theron. While she is a beautiful woman, and this might sound like a back handed compliment, but Viola Davis is the personification of the “there’s more to beauty than just looks.” I know how that sounds but in reality it’s actually a compliment.
I just love how Ms. Viola silence them all when she speaks...she is so articulate that she can make them pay attention f when she speaks, she is truly a brilliant actor. Charlize is so beautiful and sexy even without so much make up...
I have been watching Fassy's interview for the past hour, and if you can count how many times he says 'you know' in just 2 interviews, you would be amazed
lol michael fassbender is so so red, it's like his whole body is blushing! charlize theron was ruthlessly flirting with him, it actually became embarassing for me too haha
I don't think it's embarrassing at all! For the character of Mrs. Miller, she has to hit like an atom bomb, and if you need to write to get into the correct headspace, then you write!
While Octavio Spencer is a fine actress, the wrong actor won the oscar for the Help. Viola's character was not a "black stereotype" and was much more powerful and nuanced than was Mrs. Spencer's character.
very profound what you said Davis. Theron : 00000000000 sincerity, just interesting about her self. Pauvre conne! Clooney : so friendly this guy....he makes people confortable.
wow I'm surprised! Viola look so classy since she got first nomination in doubt, her career as an actress, her acting skill and her performance in media totally going up in higher lever , way more different with the no 1 most famous black actress Halle Berry who look more sluttier after her fame lol Keep down to earth and be yourself Viola :)
