Davvy's Eberron Guide - The Last War 

Imagine a Game of thrones style show set during the last war

Keith Baker's trilogy describes the Mournland as a place trapped in time. There is a continuous grey hue to everything and whether it is day or night when you enter, it is just bright enough on a foggy, overcast day. Those who were slain do not experience rot in the Mournland, they just lie with the expressions of their death as their final mask. There is an odor of stale flesh, sorta like a swimming pool heavily occupied with unwashed fat people otherwise known as Fermunda cheese. There creatures that still roam around inside the Mournland, particularly a giant crab monster who rolls around in dead bodies, using armored corpses as an AC bonus.

Okay okay okay as a frequent DM having to explain Eberron to players is like loading a gun it takes everything not to shoot yourself because of that one guy who doesn’t understand

This is actually great lore it doesnt hsve the boring tropes of other fantasy wars and actually seem like a real war with realistic actions

I know people on other channels comment "I drop everything to watch these videos," but this is the only channel I do that for. As soon as I see a new Davvy video, I watch it and enjoy it. This is seriously good stuff! I'm especially enjoying the Eberron stuff, since I've always wanted to learn more about it and your explanations make me laugh more than the source book could! Once I can afford it, I'd love to throw some cash your way on Patreon.

Wait, an entire country wiped out by an unknown force that successfully freaked out the other nations into peace... sounds like someone's been reading a bit of the old Watchmen comics. In any case, I'm really digging these lore videos.

And there where also a bunch of Orcs hanging out in the swamps who avoided all of this.

F'kin' hell but this was ten times more easier for my brain to digest then the videos others have put out about the same subject. Would only ask for a link to Part 1 to round it all off since I haven't seen that one yet. Cheers.
