In this video I put together my 3 most popular devices, the Sonicware LIVEN Mega Synthesis, Sonicware SMPLTrek, and the Behringer Toro for a nice little Dawless Jam. In this video I used the Mega Synthesis mainly as a sound module - not a sequencer! The jam kicks in straight away and then an explanation of what I used, and how. If you are looking to setup a Dawless system and want to do something like this - let me know I will try to help you out!
I just need to tell you all that I am really loving this Mega Synthesis Liven Groovebox - it is great stand alone, but when you start using it with the SMPLTrek it is even better. I really like being able to see my sequences so this really makes using this device even better.

That’s a fun jam. I thought about that sampletreck but had gotten too many recent new editions which I realize now I don’t have the time for. Likely Minifreak and uno synth. I love both of them but there size has forced them into cases. (I have the full size uno which I LOVe. Great Keys!) so lately I have just the tiny synths available ! I appreciate the explanation

Thanks Maria yeah I love the Uno Synth pro too. Is that the one you’re referring to the full-size one with the red sides? The keys on the thing feel amazing. I think it’s one of my favorite synthesizer key beds I have.

Good Jam, I think you need a bit of sub bass, either by EQ or an additional sub bass.

Yeah, next time lol. I need to get some sounds programmed in this thing that have some more based to them. Trying to figure out if I can build a patch editor for it (the Mega Synthesis)

@@Cap10NRGMusic Lol, oohh idk, I got a few things I love. Big fan of the Livens, got the XFM and it just keeps unfolding into an ever-blossoming flower. Whatever inspires you, I was only referring to the comment on gettin some bass. Ive been a groove boxer for a while and one of my biggest struggles has been creating good bass, both kicks and subs, without goin into a daw. Just picked up the Volca Kick a week ago and it's like solved everything. I can't not make hard hitting, good sounding, super bass and subbass kick and tonal riffs every time I just start randomly tweakin. $160 and fully analog, you just cant go wrong.

@@benjaminstrecker3785 nice!! Yeah maybe I’ll bust out the RD808 - and sorry didn’t mean to put you on the spot there lol I just like to interact with people and see what they think. You know it’s good for broadening your creative process (referring to myself) someone else says something I think about it and go maybe I could try this and sometimes it inspire somebody else too so you know. I loved interact with the people who watch my videos and ask questions or just talk, so I hope that doesn’t bug you. If you haven’t already subbed, please do love having people around to converse with!
