Well at least I’m not talking ish then. I’m glad you dig it. If you have anything you’d want backup on let me know. Also on my Patreon I dig deeper in matters of you run into any problems
He helped me understand all other live sets I watch. The good ones know this stuff as well but this man can explain it to you step by step. Absolutely brilliant. Priceless content.
Not gonna lie, I have had my equipment sitting here and not having touched anything for ages because I just felt uninspired and tired of all the things going on. But watching your stuff really does make me want to break out my Maschine and make some music again.
I'm new to your channel, and I thank you for your content, it's inspiring and engaging and i love what you are doing! I was also pleasantly surprised to discover that you were/are part of Quadrophonia too, your self titled track was such a seminal piece from my late teens when i started out in the rave scene that still sounds powerful today! thankyou thankyou! big love to you from Edinburgh Scotland.
Great inspiration as always! Still trying to tame the model D into frequencies that works, but not close to your! And it for sure does not boogie with my other synths... but I am not giving up yet!
Hit me up on Patreon. I’ll help out brother!! And believe me. It took me a while as well before I found what worked and sat well. It is a different beast altogether. And a future classic too, if I see the beating Behringer are getting of late...
@@AnalogKitchen yeah it’s such a good mix. I purchased it back in the cd days. It was one of the first explorations that I made into the realm of Techno back when I was still playing liquid and Breakbeat, as a 100% vinyl dj! ;) It’s such a good mix. Also the album EX as well. Lots of 909 & 303. Thanks man.
Awesome stuff man! Just bumped into this video probably cause I watch a lot of Octa related techno stuff, but great video man, looking forward to check out more. Plus I have a good hunch where you’re at, judging by the FB name;) Best from Charlois
@@AnalogKitchen I’d be interested in a tutorial for these ghost kicks or how you’d call them! I’ll check out the rest of your channel, see what I find, but otherwise would be a great tutorial! There’s a million of “rolling kicks” tutorials for DAWs on RU-vid but I struggle creating the rolling/sub/ghost kicks in my Octa/Rytm. Cheers!
Very entertaining episode brother! Well done! Also it is said that the characteristic sound of each label comes from the mastering part of the workflow and its own adjustments in addition to the own style of the track itself. I got a difficult one: Pole Group. Are you in? Cheers!!
Any tips for what chord / notes to play for the arpeggios? My jams often down have that off kilter sort of techno sound. You know how synth lines often sound a little off or wrong so to speak? It’s the same thing with the tb3 as well as with arps. They often sound too happy and not techno but I just don’t know why. I have JU06a for arps and tb3 for acid / bass etc. Cheers.
Study basic triads first and figure out the root note of your song. Choose that chord and go for a minor chord if you need drama. Go for a major chord if you need an uplifting vibe
@@AnalogKitchen I shall try and Techno on my next little jam and see how it goes. I think that due to me only having the onboard sequencer, that the 1 bar loop is what I’m finding limiting. Thanks a lot for your tips & tricks man. Priceless knowledge!
I dont hear the brute drumcode sound here..its way more housy and groovy from minute one... better techno... What has this to do with drumcode? anyway..good example why techno is riding/dubbing hardware setups.. and all daw only productions are fake..It has to happen..
