@@UtopiaMusic I think it really comes into focus at around the 2:34 mark. There’s a lot of instruments playing all at once, but (in my opinion) not in a way that compliment one another, but instead drown out beauty that each section of the orchestra has on its own. In the original version, this portion of the song has a much cleaner transition into the climax. Furthermore, the horns themselves play over each other - it seems there are two different horns playing at 2:45 rather than the single, harmonious note carried in the original song. It comes up again to a lesser extent at 2:58. All that said, all music is subjective to the listener. What I think as a detriment someone else might consider an improvement, and regardless, the piece itself is an incredible accomplishment. To use your own words, it really does carry the magic, power and glory of the era and of the game. So once again - please do not take my criticism as anything more than both personal and constructive. As always I eagerly await your next work.
