Get the game here: pdxint.at/1s7AI5P It's soon finally here! Here's an exclusive look into the process of recording some of the songs for the upcoming soundtrack for Stellaris as we journey through to the upcoming release on May 9th.
+Quel Strange, I feel like the Paradox OSTs make almost every other game's OST sound mediocre, with very few exceptions like Mass Effect, Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us.
Quel Well, luckily at least previously you could easily get the soundtracks you wanted. Hopefully it works the same with Stellaris too, can't see why it shouldn't.
+Quel What I mean is that when you are playing a grand strategy game you dont want to get distracted by epic music in the background. The main menu music is a different case of course
I have to say this is by far the greatest game I have ever spent time on. Not a game for excessive hormone, but some fine art prepared for your wildest dream and the deep meanings of humanism and existence. If there would ever be a day that we are finally able to explore the universe, we shouldn't forget Paradox and their Stellaris.
We always asked ourselves whether we're alone or not amongst billions of stars while the answer is always there, and the absolute fact of alien existence of which we always deny.
I like how the low brass is one of the most important parts in this song yet they are pictured once. The Tuba was pictured once when he wasn't even the focus of the shot. Brass lives matter.
French horns and strings carried this piece (although all instruments were important). The shots were usually of the instruments playing a prominent sound in that part of the song. "Brass lives matter" *french horn*
can you imagine paradox making a tv show about Stellaris, but instead of CGI they used their game and live-action people mixed shots to immerse you into the game graphics?
That's actually pretty dope as a concept for smaller companies and fans to produce their own content without having to sell their kidneys in order to pay the production costs...
ok, more then a year that i answer, but you should be aware of that the "Berlin Symphonic Film Orchestra", founded by Chrsistopher Franke, did the OST of Babylon 5
+Jeff No, Jeff, you can't. An orchestra stacked against software, samples and the knowledge to use them will always win. And there's some great sample composers out there, but real orchestras are profoundly superior unless dealing with extremely simple textures.
@@KeKcP I'm not. Orchestral music is a very distinctive genre of orchestral music, and is very different from this piece. Classical orchestras don't even have trombones.
I have to say, I had some doubts about this game. But after watching the game being played, I went and bought a ticket to the Hype Train. The feeling of exploration and advancement are wonderfully portrayed in the soundtrack. Paradox, I feel like you've made another great game ;).
@@lekanske3816 Those Xeno would not dare to treat Humanity, but if ther do..."We shall go on to the end. We shall fight on Earth we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender" as one wise man said
born too late to discover the earth born too early to discover the universe but born just in time to get robbed by the greedy paradox interactive's DLC
Might be a bit late asking for this...but can we have MORE please? :D The OST for Stellaris is a thing is beauty already. Can we PLEASE have more of these live recordings of the orchestras at work? It bring a whole new thrill and wonder to SEEING the songs you adore be at the forefront!
I can't believe this game released 2016. I still remember booking time off work, planning what my races were going to be and watching the streams leading up to release. I don't think I've ever been so hyped for a game in my adult years and despite some pedantics, it is still in my opinion the best grand strategy game to date. Thank you Paradox Interactive.
It's stirring and tear-inducing to hear this one and see the orchestra at work. I can't hear this song and not feel some sort of stirring of pride in my chest and focus whilst playing to ensure that I'm making the best decisions I can. Almost like an anthem. You know it's a good song when you can't help but feel that rise of pride, tears and focus all at once.
I was visiting the Matterhorn in Zermatt switzerland whilst listening to this... It is just amazing how well this music fits. Looking up at these ginormous mountains with this music in your ears is just.... I cant even put it into words how I felt.... a memory I will forever carry with me... just stunning
There truly is no words to describe the beauty that is the vision in this creation, this work of art. The music alone is magnificent. talent!! . I truly am left in awe. Thank you paradox for inspiring such a masterpiece in your creation of Stellaris as a project.
Been playing for couple of hours and the music plays so good. Same with CK II, EU IV and now Stellaris. Can't stop listening to Stellaris soundtrack, so amazingly good. Well done Andreas! :) Can't wait for Hearts of Iron IV, if you do make the soundtrack there as well, which i hope you do.
Such an epic piece of music No matter how many times I hear it It is still as magnificent as the first time And the game play alongside the music accompanies it brilliantly If only all game music could be this good
I've played this game more than 80 hours, and I still love this soundtrack. Congratulations on a great job! I'm so happy that they made a video of the people behind the music.
I really love the soundtrack for EU IV, and I found myself expecting the same kind of thing for Stellaris. "Creation and Beyond" fulfilled that expectation, but I was disappointed that the rest of the Stellaris soundtrack did not have the same orchestral/symphonic depth and richness. I guess you can't please everybody, but I hope the future of this franchise includes more arrangements like this, and fewer that sound like someone brought in a synthesizer and electric guitar and sent the rest of the orchestra home.
Well I just found this video by looking at the Reaper's Due video but I wanted to take the time to say how much I enjoy the soundtrack of Stellaris. It's just so magical but also moving and it makes you want to go further, even in your own life. One of the best soundtrack I've heard in a long time.
Saw this in my suggested, been a while since I played Stellaris. Time to load some updated and new goodies from the workshop and launch into the unknown!
A song of orchestral prowess. A song of fallen stars and broken allegiances. A song of long-dead echoes, and eternal wars. A song of the united population of thousands of systems, all as one. _A song of souls._ _A song of unity._ _A song of defiance._ *A song of triumph.*
Just have to survive 1 more day. I was hoping overwatch wasn't going to be shit so I could play the open beta till monday... But atleast I still have 4 more Blorg videos to watch :-)
