I bought an extra core minis box as an add on so I could paint them alongside my little brother the same way we'd shared painting all the dupe monsters in Deep Madness. Sadly they f'd around for so many years he passed away at 58 before ever they got around to fulfilling their promises. F deimension games and their lack of competence, motivation or shame

Jens Great to hear from you!! This game has definitely been resigned since then. It was difficult to showcase the game in that state. I think all the design decisions they have done makes this a much easier experience to enjoy. I was just looking at the old prototype that I still have in my possession. The mechanics are so drastically different. The playthrough will be coming soon!!! 😃😃👍

Sorry to hear you experienced banged up boxes and destroyed trays. Id reach to them and see if you can get a replacement box. Im really looking forward to playing the game as soon as I can. I was surprised by the red color but if you don't paint they do stand out on the board better. Great to hear from you Todd hope you enjoy the game you will have to tell me what you think when you get it to the table.

@@MeetMeAtTheTable I emailed cherry per the last update but haven’t heard back anything back yet. I’d at least like the tray fixed. I have 2 minis that aren’t even in the box it was so bad…still super pumped for the game though

It is, it's set in the early days of the Church of the Golden Dawn, who would eventually go on to build the Kadath mining facility where Deep Madness takes place.

Oh the tokens are cool and so is the Playmat but not necessary. I got a crossover pack it wasn’t many cards maybe I went over it really fast or didn’t get the whole thing. I know I didn’t get the 16 sided die lol!!! 😃😃👍

Great question. I hope to be able to answer that question soon. I'll be doing a solo play though very soon. So you can see it in acton. I know you have to control 2 wanders and you get extra action cards to offset the fact you don't have 4 wanders. hope that helps and stay tuned for the play though

This game has gone though an almost complete overhaul since the Kickstarter. Can’t wait to dig into this game. Not sure about the other 4 characters sorry 😃😃👍

After the KS completed they redesigned the game from the ground up due to a large amount of feedback from the community. To sum this game up in a few sentences. I would say a "a narrative horror experience using skill checks and a unique mitigation system. A large amount of tension because you wish you had more actions to do what you want." Hope that helps. I have only been able to play through the first few turns. The playthrough will be dropping tomorrow so stay tuned!!!

@@MeetMeAtTheTable Thanks so much. Wow, so they did fund originally and THEN completely redesigned? That must've been a thing back then. I love finding things like this, especially when you can still pledge and get the game right away haha.

I really enjoyed your Harry Potter deckbiliding videos that is one of my family's favorite games. It's defiantly flawed but its still fun. Sorry to hear you have that much animosity towards this KS company. I don't really ever expect a KS to deliver on time. and as this one went on I knew it wouldn't deliver as expected. They completely redesigned the game from the ground up based on player feedback and I respect that they didn't just put out a bad game. Good news I am sure there will be someone out there that is excited to get there hands on this game. I don't really ever talk about how good or bad things are behind the scene. Whether it is a free copy of not, I only show what the game is and how it is played and let people decide for themselves what they think of the game and the companies behind them. I wish you the best.
