Backed it originally only to halt the backing when I got worried with the way it was heading in development. Time to see if I’ll regret my choice. Ohh and congratulations on the channel growth, used to watch the videos all the time a few years back. Think the logo also changed but now I may just be delusional 😂

Didnt want to be spoiled too much so just watched around the first hour. Damn that text is gripping. The living room text was gripping from the get go with that bunny. Really looking forward to this getting delivered

That abomination made me laugh, because instead of a sting you get a zombie headbutt...😂 until I imagined what it would be like to have a zombie head whipping towards me and no I'm going to be having nightmares about it! 😱😱 When I saw the thumbnail, I thought that's rather dark for the song. Until realising that it's Emily's Story instead of "Emily's Song" by The Moody Blues. A beautiful track which I need after the above mind scare! lol Wasn't clear if it was you Colin or both who was poorly. Hope you are all well by now! Any road, enough waffling, looking forward to hiding being the sofa, I mean watching the playthrough! lol Edit: I did have Emily's Song stuck in my head, but having watched the video, have a new earworm. Purple Brainz by the Undead Artist formerly known as Prince. lol Thanks Bairnt. Very much enjoyed watching along and looking forward to the next instalment!

Great video as usual! I loved your unboxing of this and the theme grabbed me so much that I jumped and got on the late pledge… :) but watching your playthrough I have some concerns - it’s an exploratory game to progress through the story which is fine but in this video most of the time you spent fighting hordes of respawning monsters.. which just seemed a little tedious especially when your progress was slow (getting to that 40 mark) - do you feel your approach was the correct one (in dealing with such monsters) or should you have maybe run away to try and get more of the story progressed? Thanks!

At 1:07:25 or so, Feral should've spent its last mental capacity to do its attack (though its possible you take care of this later - still watching 😅)

Oh man Bairnt. Now I'm in trouble. I watched this in church, when I was watching all the little ones for communion... If only there had been some disclaimer to warn me of my folley.... Lol. Not my genre of game for sure (I'm not a horror fan anymore) but the gameplay looks solid.

At the start of Turn 3 ~1:49 the Terror is Malign (muh-line) means evil. Root word for Malignant. This game is frickin rad. I just cleared Primal off the table; lost solo to Hydar using Thoreg and Dareon 😢 to make space on the table to play this next week 😃

They missed an awesome opportunity to use a small die and recess the numbers on the starting board to show the starting stats and a small die would set in the recess and you could use that to keep track of your stats, heck the dice could be of the respective color. I will be doing that at least for the 5 instead of the pad, now to find small dice in/or close to the appropriate color :)

Hello and thanks for the video. Does the game have a database for the monsters miniatures? It seems very difficult to find the right mini based only on the card picture ... Also, even worst, to recognize them from the tokens...

like the grey/black bases you did, helps the creatures stand out. Is it black base with grey overpaint and some oil spots?

Great playthrough as always! And I have question about Support Card @44.49 ... Rulebook on page 27 only say that "you must perform at least one other action in between" but didn't mention that you need to perform action that losing mental capacity. So I believe we can use a support card and then perform action by spending sentience on "Brain Domain", then use another support card again, correct?

Bah, I really have waited a while and was happy it was finally on the way. Then last week I noticed that I ordered the german version. I usually order all my games on english. I don't know why I took the german version for this one. Now I have to wait even longer :(

One question at 1:37:00: You said that you test either red or purple for hand. But the text in the storybook says: test red for hand and purple for hand. So shouldnt you have both results to succeed?

I can confirm I got a 16 sided die, but it seems like a lot of people are getting a 20 sided die.

Any EU buyers that recently ordered it on Backerkit? I'm unclear of what's the story with VAT here. No tax gets added when I go through the order process. Is it already included? Will today's orders still be sent from within the EU? I've mailed them but haven't gotten a reply.

Now that you've played. The delay in the game for so long. The bad taste in everyone's mouth. Do you actually enjoy this game. Is it good; mechanics, art, story and direction? I got the game never opened was thinking of just selling it but I may open and keep it.
