Dawn of the Monsters is Awesome!!! 

I admit I'm not much of a gamer anymore but this does look awesome! I really like the character designs and see a bit of Eva in the humanoid giants. I like how the enemies are named after the Biblical giants too, very cool!

You had me sold at kaiju game by Wayforward.

King of the monsters 1 and 2, war of the monsters, and dawn of the monsters are awesome.

Very fun. The combat feels SO good. I am stuck at one part in the third region but I haven't retried that many times. Great video.

I've been intrigued with this game and hope to get it in the future. We need more solid console Kaiju games

Oh! You forgot to mention Dodge cancels, the games best feature! No worries though, I didn’t know about them either until after I finished my first playthrough. For reference, and it’s hard to explain but: If you hold the dodge button at the end of a attack and press a attack button at the same time, you dodge out of the animation and immediately into the attack you inputted. That’s where the game’s depth kicks in, but the game never teaches you how to do it, it just mentioned dodge canceling. It takes practice learning the timing to dodge cancel for each character and attack, but that is what the practice mode is for!

I'm thinking about picking this one up. It definitely looks interesting.

Dawn Of The Monsters is not only a Godzilla game but also an Ultraman game I could confirm it because when Shin Ultraman came out in Japan the creator actually said congratulation to the Shin Ultraman team

I'd love a vs mode where you and a friend can beat the snot out of each other as any monster/mech in the game. Even the enemies...

At least on Steam, this game isn’t doing too well. Which sucks, but hopefully it does well enough to get more content. I love this universe they’ve made and it ends with a lot of questions unanswered! For my part, I’m searching for a reviewer to buy it for. Seems I was too late in your case XD Maybe top hat gaming man would like it, he does have a lot of videos about beat em ups after all. Nice review by the way, I find myself agreeing with most of what you’ve said. And yeah, the game can be surprisingly challenging, and kinda cheaply so with how most enemies can power through your attacks, but not vice versa. Which I understand on heavy enemies, but for gods sake, not every mook!
