Mission 7 Intro: The Eldar summon a mighty Avatar of Khaine to aid them against the Blood Ravens. Music: Fullmetal Alchemist - 05 - Homunculus (Michiru Oshima)
@@DoctorFail Much as I love the idea of Sindri and Eliphas working together... yeah, this is going to be the eventual result. They'll just try to backstab each other sooner or later. But damn if it wouldn't be awesome to watch.
too bad Sindri got sacrificed at the end It would have been interesting to see him in later Dawn of War games. A battle between Sindri and Gorgutz would have the best dialogue ever.
Technically as a demon prince, he'd just reform in the Warp. He could totally turn up in a future game, novel or even the table top. Shas'O Kais survived Dark Crusade and has been mentioned in the 8th edition codex.
@@MyRYNOrunsHot the demon of the maledictium absorbed his soul instead of letting it return to the warp were it could have reformed. And Shas`O Kais survial was already canon in each ending of dark crusade even when the tao lost.
Fuck it, I'm winging it, Picturing Sindri lead the World Bearers in Dark-Crusade [Orkz on Diemos Peninsula] (Start) Gorgutz: Oiz alredy gotz me a pretty choaz skull for me pointy stik. I'll feedin' ya to me Squiggoth intead." Sindri: "You and I have both had our fun slaying foolish Warbosses and Lords in our time, a pitty I can't make any use for you." Gorgutz: "Youz Chaoz bois always tink ya can scare me 'Waaaagh', but we ain'z gonna be de one'z runnin'. (Stronghold End) Sindri: "How fascinating to see you make it this far, you'll have the opportunity to gaze upon the true terror Black Legion before it bleeds you of every last drop" Gorgutz: "Do ye Black Legs fite betta then the Runtz that came before ya? Yere little base so fer haz been a waste of me time." [Chaos on The Green Coast] (Start) Sindri: "So you keep your minions leashed with some banners. Pretell, what should happen if you were to lose them? Gorgutz: "Des more fer show. All me boiz know Iz da one in charge, Iz da Warboss! Sindri (Self Monologue): "There's nothing I like more then a bit of treachery." (VS Gorgutz) Sindri: "You are without your dogs Gorgutz, Run while you still have a chance." Gorgtuz: "Youz till got te' fite teh best of uz yet. Send all yer boiz afta me. Ilz smash em all up real good." Sindri: "The better you fight, the more enjoyment I'll get seeing you fall."
Gatty Demolitions. Scout Marines aren't only trained for reconnaissance but also ambush, stealing enemy Intel and demolitions. Only, the first DOW type of Scout Marines don't have the explosives needed to destroy that building.
Somebody who thinks brute strength is a viable tactic for the Legion whose shtick is being the sneakiest gits in the entire setting. Y'know, like Bale.
Macha wasted the Avatar on the Space Marines. Just imagine how useful that thing could have been on the last mission. But NO! She just had to do the $|V|@r1 thing ;D *eye twitches from fighting the Bloodthirster&Daemon Prince*
The only way to kill a Avatar of Khaine is to completely destroy the Craftworld it represents and protects. And even then I am not sure if that would permanently destroy it.
i think it would be awesome if you saw Sindri in a chair with his legs crossed and drinking some wine while he gives you a plot twist, that would beat any evil guy in ANY game :3
I don't remember that mission all too well, but using only IG sounds kinda fun. However, that mission was meant for you to use Space Marines as well. The Guard number in the billions and billions. Space Marines number in total about... 1 million. Marines can't be everywhere at once, which is why the Hammer of the Emperor, aka, the Imperial Guard, is necessary. And they do a good enough job of it, but when Daemons and Traitor Marines start pouring out, that's when you call the SM. Or more tanks!
That is...utterly terrifying. Seriously, the idea of a soul being obliterated and condemned to an eternity of unthinking blackness is more disturbing than any shock site the internet has to offer.
no it's not. mission 7 is mission where indeed are introducerd the imperium's finest, the Terminators. But i refer to the mission 9, where you must capture all the 4 relics to stop the Chaos unlocking that key. this mission it's called "unholly ceremony" and mission 7 is "Sacrifice"
Anyone ever found it odd that in cinematics and cut scenes Eldar make a sacrifice to summon the Avatar, but in game it’s a separate summon? It doesn’t work like the Blood Thirster.
@powerjazzatitain No. Xeno in real life means "alien" as in someone from another country aka a foreigner. It can also mean alien as in someone or something from another world which is how it is used in sci fi such as 40K. However the word Xeno first and foremost means foreigner.
The Avatar of Khaine is more then just a manifestation it is a literal chunk of Khaine though not the whole of Khaine. Had the Eldar war god been there in his complete form not even the forces of Chaos, Space Marines, and Eldar combined would be able to stop him so great is his power. Of course the Eldar would support him so Chaos and the Space Marines would truly be fucked. In anycase Khaine's avatar can't be killed it merely is unsummoned and needs to be re summoned again.
Khaine hates the eldar now. The eldar betrayed khain in his last fight because there is a prophecy that the eldar will be doomed by khaine so Khaine planned to destroy them but was swayed to spare them if they offered him 100 godly blades but the gave him only 99 and a fake one after that he was shattered and is kept divided so that he never can get his revenge on the eldar
DAME! you can only put 1+ upp!! you are so right! sindri was and will be one of the best characters in ALL dawn of war and THE best Chaos character, I SO hope he´ll come back in Dow2... maby not in the first cus only Space marines,Orks,Eldar and tyranids are in for now.. but i realy hope the exp-pack will be: Dawn of war 2. the return of sindri!! :D
you know youre comment makes no sense the ultramarines lost the first company and a few were lost from other companys and they were fighting against a hive fleet all by themselves
All of the Blood Raven units in DOW1's vanilla campaign use different models from the ones used in Skirmish and the expansion campaigns. They're textured differently to allow for colour combinations the in-game Army Painter wouldn't allow, like having green eye lenses on the helmets and having both grey trim on the normal units and gold trim on the commanders and Terminators instead of having just one trim colour for the entire army.
um... i thot the force commander gets his daemon hammer in the last mission am i wrong? cause if u watch closely he has it while the librarian was talking
I was commenting on the one that was talking about Macragge. "It took them 100 years to recover." But RU-vid's comment system in all its gayness has pushed this comment to the top for the time being.
good. and how did u find that out? i mean, in the game dawn of war 1, it doesn't say why he destroyed. it's just said that he did an Exterminatus, for the ,,good of the planet". anyway, i think that the imperial guard should stop doing what they do, because it;s useless. at mission 9 (Unholy Ceremony), i fought only with the imperial, to do that mission. it took me 7 hours to finish it. and i did it once again using only terminators. that's a big diference, i know, but, the IG, remain weak
is the mission when u have to capture all the 4 relics and to keep them for 2 minutes. it's kinda hard that mission, because, even when u destroyed the chaos BASES, they will still attack u. kinda annoying.
