Can’t believe I’ve never commented this. Seeing so many people commenting on how you’ve inspired them. I was of one them. I remember seeing this video in university in my dorm room and seeing it 100x times during flight training to get some inspiration when times were rough. This song comes as an absolute anthem to me and I see myself coming here every now and then and remember those times. I am now flying the A330. Dear Matt, I discovered your channel with this video years ago and immediatly got fond of your beautiful glider movies. I watched them with my young boy so many times. I was away for 6 months just to find out there won't be anymore videos because you left Earth for good this time. Fortunately your channel is the best legacy you could leave as your love for flying still shines in there. Yet it's so sad you couldn't enjoy flying a bit more down there, you seemed to enjoy it so much... Farewell fellow pilot o/

One year on of flying commercial jets, this video still brings tears to my eyes, it is superb. Totally encapsulates some of the best bits of this job. Shame about the copyright but playing the soundtrack through Spotify still works well! :-D Thanks for creating it

Man that makes me miss it. I flew as an FE for American Trans Air on the L-1011 for a long time then flew for Focus Air on the 747. It was one of the best times I have had in my life!!! I wish I could go back and do it over again. I wouldn't change a thing.

Hey my friend, when did you start flying professionally? Is this still worth getting into? I'm 27, my job stinks, thinking of taking out a loan and going for it. I don't need to make 100k a year, but I'd prefer to not make 20k/year for the next 10 years..
