You can put whatever you're cutting in your off hand (cabbage, raw beef, raw chicken, etc) then just hold down right click while holding the knife and you burn through the stacks of stuff super fast. When it comes to food diversity, the more you eat a single item, the less it contributes over time. So having a lunch box full of different goodies is great! It could also be a good idea to keep a comfort and nourishing food in your backpack to eat on demand just before going into scary areas. As I recall, nourishing keeps you regenerating when when hungry, while comfort keeps your saturation up, but not fully sure on that. Would be nice if you could hover over the effects and get a description 😅 There is an item that is made from a lead that looks like a blue lead, forget what it was off hand. Think it uses a lead, edit: gold ingot, and ender pearl. Just hover over a lead and hit U to get the recipe. Once made, you can hold this lead in your hand and punch a farm animal with it to pick it up. By 'farm animal' they mean 'essentially any animal you can breed'. I used them to move frogs to the nether. Very useful when getting your animal farms set up

i love watching people mess around with the create mod. If you ever mess with minecart contraptions make sure you always lock rotation i cant count the times i forgot to do it and almost died because of it.

comforting removes hunger effects and i think poison too, like when you drink soup when you are sick

also nourishment makes so you don't lose hunger, you only lose hunger to heal and nothing more

Ah yes, to hunger but not running and jumping. Yep, yep. Useful for me, as I have that need to sprint everywhere... Until I sprint off cliffs and need healing
