When you click on that top option that says 'already done', it thinks that you are telling him that you've already completed the quest. It wants you to drop the eye and pick it back up to trigger the quest. In your case, the Knight Rober did indeed blow up his drops with that explosion skill of his. It seems to happen on a semi regular basis. Beating him with that ranged spell was lucky... Shoot him with an arrow and he'll teleport behind you and wreck your whole weekend 😂

Classes are not like classes that we might expect from any other game. In this, they affect your starting health (i.e. you started with 16hp, which is 8 hearts... One hp is half a heart), your starting stamina, starting gear, and starting skills only. Me personally, I went with roamer (is that what it's called? Think so. Start with a bow) because bows are essential, and starting with a full stack of arrows (more annoying than it should be to get early game) made it nearly worth it by itself. I only had 8.5 hearts, but extra stamina, which works great for my play style as well. But any character can use magic if they like, or any weapon, and eventually any skill, but the skills can be hard to come by. So if any viewer is considering Dawncraft, but hasn't started yet... Play! It's totally worth it! And starting skill should probably be your leading thing to consider, and then your health/stamina.
