Ah good, the trend of epic dungeon boss themes is alive and well

Didn’t really like this track at first, but after playing through the MSQ it really grew on me. It hits very hard during the lvl 97, 99, and 100 dungeons as well as the Solution Nine solo duty.

This song gives me shivers, not because of any of the final dungeon bosses, but because of that one instance in Solution Nine, i've FELT this song in my chest in there

This theme has grown on me. I didn't like it at first, but hearing it played while I have an epic battle against a dungeon boss sold me on it.

"I see... in that case...." (Music hits, a certain someone's character development fully solidifies) "....It seems [spoiler redacted]. I am now free to participate, I trust?" The Solution Nine instance is a very close second for me, but the above moment and the solo that follows it is the highlight moment for this song for me.

Immediately hear FFX at the beginning of it. I KNEW I RECOGNIZED IT. Was hard to really tell with friends talking and freaking out during fight, so had to listen here xD

The bass at that one part is SO GOOD

I felt it in Endwalker, but Dawntrail boss Theme doesn't disappoint me either. 😍😍😍 This theme is very grand.

This makes me want to do impossible shit. Incredible track. Worthy of a boss theme.

Favorite boss theme in the game...there I said it.

This is 100% Daiki Ishikawa again. The intro just sounds like something he would do. Loud and pronounced percussion accompanied by strings to grab your attention and to create a tense atmosphere in a dungeon final boss. Though he seems to have taken some inspiration from Masashi Hamauzu and Junya Nakano from FFX for the intro. Love the intro and the bit at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="68">1:08</a>.

So glad to see I'm not the only one who got FFX-vibes when I first heard this track! I'm also reminded of a bit of Yoko Shimomura as well (KH/KH:CoM/KH2 vibes)

At first I thought this wasn’t all that if a theme compared to SHB and EW but it fits the vibe so perfectly to how the pace of these bosses felt I ended up just loving it so much

I should have known the Fun Happy Summertime Adventure in Fantasy American Continents story was going to get real serious the moment I first heard this. I wasn't prepared for where things would end up. T.T

I love that low thrum starting at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="84">1:24</a>! First time I heard it in a dungeon I thought it was a boss mechanic though lol

I literally screamed when all the forest creatures came to help us kill the Apex Apollyon. This whole dungeon just made me so happy and felt so sweet, in a weird way. Everything was so cute and cuddly or so cool looking. I love when the FFXIV team dabbles in lower stake stories. You could easily argue this has so little to do with Dawntrail itself, but this entire area had its own story, ecosystem, background, and even oppressor that we just passed by.

The part at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="67">1:07</a> always gives me shivers. It feels so epic with the violins, and that piano accent hitting those high notes.

Love this song... I'm a big fan of other themes being remixed this way. I love the sense of urgency

It's very FFX-like along with lower Yak T'el being Macalania Woods

I get big Vim and Vigor vibes off this one, sounds straight out of KH2 and I love it

From the first moment I heard the theme I was telling myself: Ok, but when will the chorus come?... Its like it was made for it to fit there. And then in the first dungeon I heard it and was not disappointed. Banger

This is an amazing boss theme

My favorite part is that you can tell this is from FF16 sessions and it wasn’t used there. Which is great because that means we get it for 14 and the music from 16 was beyond epic. This and Endwalker’s are my favorite two Dungeon Boss themes ever created. This lives rent free in my head. During the breakdown of this, I love that it instantly makes me think of the times in 16 when something really bad is happening and you’re about to go handle it. Gah.

Is this... Holy crap, is this a mix some FFX combining with some aesthetics of Octopath and FFIX tracks?! This music is beautiful! I still love Endwalker's boss theme but this - this is serene to fight to.

At first i didn’t really care for it, but the more I progressed with the story, the more i fell in love with it. It has that FF9 and FF10 flare to it; both of which are my favourite FFs. So great job yet again, Soken!

Won't beat Shadowbringers boss theme but it's still good.

Im sorry but Im just not hearing Enemy Attack with this one. I think the part that people highlight its reference feels just slightly too different for it to be intentional.

Not as big of a fan, but I can still appreciate how much work went into this song you can tell this song took a lot of work to put together. I hope one day we get the ability to swap generic battle songs out since we are getting so many different boss themes at this point i'd love to be able to pick my favs from past expansions to hear over the main ones would help with the dungeon repetition.

Works better in Solution Nine's event than as a boss theme. I think I like the mid-boss version better...but this one does have a certain quality to it I can't put into words. Definitely not my favorite, but I can't stop humming it....

its weird. I was getting sick of the Endwalker boss theme, but now I kind of prefer it

Should post a 10 hour loop of this to remind me of the Lv. 95 dungeon final boss run I was forced to do with the absolute WORST healer I've run into in a very long time, because that's what it felt like (10 hours) getting through that boss without the healer dying and the rest of us wiping because of it. 12 wipes total and finally won with mere minutes left on the Duty timer.

Nice, but lacking that epic feel of the EW boss theme.

This story and its characters were so under quality for the series. Huge letdown. Music was mostly solid as usual, but even that was a thinner list.

I like this theme but there's a bit at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="77">1:17</a> that doesn't fit at all. It almost sounds like the chocobo theme. I don't like it, takes me out of the jam

I think Dawntrail's main motif is my least favorite of all the expansions.

Endwalkers sub boss and final boss music was better.

I thought I was going to like it at first, but like the rest of the expansion it was really flat and uninspired.
