If the vocals still represent Hydaelyn and are accurate, sort of a very nice sentiment, even if she's gone. It's her looking at us with a smile on her face in whatever afterlife she's in (I assume Venat or Hydaelyn is in some sort of afterlife, even if it's different than the one Emet/Hythlo/Themis are in)

I love how at 1:31 the lyrics actually name the expansions and base game „From the ashes we‘re reborn (ARR) To the heavens as we ride (HW) Fighting through the storm (StB) Leaving our shadows far behind (ShB) As we walk right to the end (EW)“

I sob with uncontrollable happiness EVERY time I see Krile being as happy and whimsical as she deserves.

This entire song is like Yoshi-P and his team are shouting "Don't you dare think we're even CLOSE to done!" and I absolutely love it.

I love the message of the song already: taking our time enjoying life or video-games slowly is often better than rushing to the next new thing again and again. Also makes sense that they'd want us not to blow through all of the new story too quick haha.

Its cool how Amanda's vocals kick in when the line about "Tonight our songs of life, our fortunes, are CRYSTAL CLEAR. Now turn your page and take control--TO ETERNITY" comes in. Mother's grace continues to go with us.

Something about the start of the melody in Amanda's segment at 3:25 always gets me teared up

Im just glad they kept Kriles ear motif from FFV, every single one of her jobs had earhoods of some fashion.

I like how the WoL smiles in his fight against Gulool Ja Ja. I feel like this makes the "That, I can't deny." choice in Endwalker canon since this interaction pretty much sets in stone that the WoL fights not only to protect and save people but for the thrill of it too.

The lyrics alluding to the expansions by name in 1:40 makes me wonder what could go on in a "transcend" storyline. Someone wanting be cheeky with godhood I suppose. No shortage of people in any MMO trying to reach deity level being and having to be deal with. "Fate" though could be, could not, be a tease.

Unlike Endwalker, we can't really be hyped for the story as we now nothing about what await us. BUT GOD DAMN Am I hyped to hear all of the new musics we well get (especially the bosses) 😻

I feel like she's saying "what's around the bend" and would make more sense, since that's a common phrase.

With the Music Video for Dawntrail released which has much better audio for trying to disect the lyrics, I attempted figure them out myself, and mostly are the same, but some lines are slightly different. As I was filling in the lyrics I had to ask myself if this is a song about the new expansion or the FFXIV dev team, my guess is the answer is both. Man, I can not wait 4-6 months for this. I started playing right before EW launched so I wasn't fully able to experience it, but now I'm caught up and hyped as all hell.

It's nice that this one finally got the "from the ashes we're reborn" right. The last two being "we get this realm reborn" was bugging me so much since it was so weird and relatively nonsensical.
