Make sure you all check your payments, see if its affecting you. It seems to be majorly effecting SEA players according to Arthars. Hope this gets sorted before Dawntrail, last thing you want is people not being able to play the new expansion..

i am puzzled what is that guy in the tweet even talking about?? updating address??!?! what ??? there is no address to update in fact SE store doesn´t even let you change the adress. i moved countries and can not change my address even after submitting a ticket to SE support and they said they can´t change it so now i am in the weird situation of when i buy emotes or mounts in the store it sgows in English Pound while getting my order confirmation written in German but in Japanese currency so Yen and on my online banking it shows then they translate it to Euros that then my bank translates back to Yen because i am Japanese that lived abroad.

This IS an NA problem too. NA VISA Debit cards don't work. Happening since May 23rd. Couldn't use my card for subscriptions or retainers. Had to go buy a gift card from a physical store then buy crysta to resub retainers. Address on bank matches address on SE file as I haven't moved for ten years.

have you tried removing card details in mogstation and then adding back the same card details? I'm EU had the same issue unable to purchase retainer, did that and it worked

@@gloobs988 I removed the card and re-added it no less than five times. And used a different card, but it was also VISA logo'd. Neither worked.

Doesn't work with a mastercard debit card in EU.

MIne worked just fine with buying Crysta, so not all. Sympathies to those whose cards aren't working though!

Actually ALL Debit cards from any Country are failing. It has been acknowledged as a problem by SE

I am in Americas region. I Pre purchase downtrail without knowing this issue and when I came back and tried to re register my card, firstly I had to delete what I had. I tried to re register my payment method and I couldnt. I ended up buying the prepaid card temporarily. When I tried to register the card, the system wanted me to validate my address (which actually validates an address mind you) I couldnt even register the prepaid card without validating an adress. I ended up just using a random valid address on the united states to use the prepaid card. My personal debit card cannot still be used.

Thing is my address info don’t match my credit card info because my region/country isn’t supported so I had to use a fake one years ago and now I don’t know how to resub thankfully I preordered dt before all of this but there is no point if I can’t resub… I really hope they fix this asap

im from kuwait and my account is us so when i was about to sub they asked me to update my address so i tried and it kept declining so i couldnt pay the sub but i kept trying random fake us addresses and one worked and i can pay with paypal now

My problem is the fking taxes apparently I cant buy it from the official site cause it have extra taxes and when it tries to make me pay the taxes in a different payment my card reject it so only way is buying it from third party or steam....like wtf same with subs I need to buy 60 day cards from amazon they really need to update their shit it looks like its straight from the 2000s

I’m from Thailand and yeah FF14 dosnt have my country as an option sadly. From what I understand (atleast from talking with friends) most of the issue is with NA accounts instead of EU account (I use EU).

Same!! From SEA here. My account is under EU cause of legacy issues. Managed to pre-order DT before the store/payment update thing on the SE EU store and had to use a fake address because SE EU store only allow input of EU addresses and countries. So far I have not gotten any notification that my pre-order will be cancelled and I have already redeemed my pre-order bonus. Still says "awaiting fulfilment" in my SE EU store account. Cross fingers.

SE keep shooting themselves in the feet here... their webside is horrible to navigate, and now they create this issue with their payment methods. Hell, one would think they'd make it as easy as humanly possible for people to throw money at them...
