That argument Matt said? That she decides on her own anyway? That was true. That might've come from anger but true. She decided to adopt that kid. I think after her failed pregnancy. Then somehow got Matt roped into it. She broke when she needed to let that kid go. Matt was damaged but she was broken. Then this volunteer thing. She does not have the concept of consulting your husband on things affecting both of you. She selfishly made this decision. Look, I am not saying this thing is not noble. It is. But it is also something someone else can do. Not just her. I bet you Violet can do the same thing. My point is that she should've consulted Matt and the nobility of the job does not excuse her irresponsible gesture. Even the emotionless Severide consulted Stella on his OFI deal. At least when Stella snapped. Dawsey had a good run. But it was a journey that was mostly Dawson deciding and Casey putting up with it. Matt deserved better.

At first i thought the way dawson pined for casey she would actually do everything for him when they are finally together. Like she will be the giver cause i always thought she loved casey more but when seasons evolved it actually became opposite along with that dawson's character became so annoying like casey had to do everything acc to her or else their relationship is over. That threat always loomed over them and i felt dawson did nothing to remove it. Ever.
