I remember when this song released in 2021, it was amazing back then but the video takes it to another level. I love the symbolism in the video, like how the teachers at the school handcuff the children which prevents them from doing what they want to do and stops them from reaching happiness. The calendar with the emojis is also symbolic of how a lot of people feel on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis while working a 9 to 5 job.

Thank you for backing up the song when you interject.(there was a time you didn't but trust me, do it every time... it solidifies the message) My first time listening to you and I almost got irritated the first time you did it. I now know you are very aware of your expertise and I just want to say, thank you. Don't fret about constantly pausing. What I love in reaction artists is when they constantly react to powerful messages but also back up a little to re-send the message you explained.

Dax is truly an amazing artist. Everyone can relate to this song. Only alcoholics can relate to his song "dear alcohol". Only men can relate to his song "To be a man." But this song is something else.....everyone can relate and empathise.

I think you’re jumping to conclusions, I’m sure plenty victims of alcoholics can relate some way to “dear alcohol “ I also think the song “to be a man” has a lot of people just thinking. I do get your point though. I just think there are a different circumstances that allow all kinds of different races and sexes to relate. Cheers!

@nathangraae1075 Now that you put it that way, I guess you're right. Having had alcoholic parents, hearing what Dax is saying would help me understand my parents a lot more and their reasons for drinking. Inregards to "to be a man," I guess women can relate to some of what he is saying as well, but the last few lines of the first verse I find relatable because sometimes I do think that the reason my wife is still around is because of what I provide. I could be wrong, but I don't think women have that thought in their heads. This is my own insecurities though. Thank you for your comment and feedback......it's nice to have a civilised conversation for once rather than an argument in the comment sections.

No such thing as God hes a myth just something for people to hold onto hes not real never has been. Why would a god create such hate,killing,disease and hunger? If that is your God then I dont want anything to do with him!!! Hes the devil

This song made me breakdown. Really brought out a depression from deep that i didnt know i had. I am 19 about to be 20 and im still unemployed and no money. I basically lost everything at 14 after my stepmom and father divorced. Lost more at 15 losing my father. Became homeless with nobody at early 18 after years of taking care of my grandparents and my mental health declining. Now im here with a lovely girlfriend who took me under her wing. But i have a lot of depression that just hit me. I feel like less of a man and more of a boy with no job and purpose. I feel alone still because sure i have my girlfriends family but i have none of my own. I have dreams but my dad died before he could teach me how to pursue them. I pushed away for so long saying im figuring things out. But this song really made me realize im lost.

Being a nice and helpful Person, also not heading to commercial and material wealth are two parts of lifes sense for me. I say, learn to live in and with nature, give respect to all creatures and nature under the sky, you will need that in the future to survive the extreme hard times, we are going into. Even if there is Life after physical death, be nice, helpful and full of respect!

Dax never ceases to say the things that are and always have been in my heart that i was always too afraid to talk about. But i'm not afraid anymore. I'm tired of being afraid of positivity and spreading something that is pure love. Our lives here are finite. Our souls are infinite, and i can't even IMAGINE living in God's love for ALL ETERNITY. It's a concept we can't understand, but at the end .... I can't wait to find out. Thank you for reacting to this, and thank you Dax, for everything!

Can you please consider reacting to anson Seabra? I have made a mini film before so I know it’s a lot of work but I would really appreciate it if you would do broken by Seabra. I struggle with ADHD and anxiety and some other stuff. Thanks if not Seabra, Reagan Beem hurts the ones you love. I don’t know how to talk about my feelings but these two men seem to be living in my head and it’s scary accurate.
