What is REALLY missing in the dual MPPT and for me is a MUST have - Modus Operandi, in other words - behavior explanation. I had long discussion with Daxtromn, so far there is no explanation how exactly it works. Second string (PV2) starts only if you load the machine with 3kW++, which is pure stupidity. Most of the time you are loosing all of the power, that the second string is producing, and there is nothing in the manual regarding the process of switching on and off the second string. And yes, furthermore there is problem with the monitoring of the second string (PV2 again). And for all of you that are considering to place two strings in one incomer (PV1 only) please have in mind that you can use only up to 18 amperes, which is not so much. In case you exceed this, there is a risk for your system. In case someone from Daxtromn is reading these comments: 1. Please provide Modus Operandi (process flow with description how is it suppose to work in all of the modes SBU,SUB,USB) 2. Please consider firmware update, that have lower threshold for parallel work of the two strings - the threshold should be 200W instead of 2000-3000 watts.
Imam isti uređaj samo pod nazivom " VICTOR Max 10.2Kw " rade mi oba PV ulaza u isto vreme. Jedan je 4kw drugi 3,2kw. Opterećenjem 2kw prvi daje 1200w a drugi 800w.
Hi Will this inveter work without batteries and without AC in ? I'd like to run my electrical tools in an off grid and no battery installation, only when the weather is sunny.
I am currently using it without batteries, it also works without AC input but for example if the panels generate 4KW, the consumed power should be around 2 or at most 3 Kw otherwise it restarting when no AC input.
Thanks for the video. Is there any way to increase the 18A of the mppt inputs? Do I put another additional inverter in parallel? I have panels with an Imp of 14A and I can't use them all, I have to put them in series reaching voltages of over 450V.
Iam having same issue, PV connected to PV2 and it starts to produce if I connect and disconnect rapidly the PV2 connection, that is when Watts and amps are cero... Then it starts to produce... then during time goes lowering amps and watts as well until reaches cero again
@@ErCanEverything What soft version do you have? One guy here in YT figured out, that in this inverter PV2 input only works (kind of unlocks) if PV1 gets some voltage from the PV string. In other words: Secod MPPT input only works if the first is connected and gives some voltage.
Чудя се защо на масата от тези инвертори им е сбъркано охлаждането. Всички вентилатори са обърнати обратно на естествената конвекция, според мен е добре да се обърнат обратно, за да вкарват студен въздух в кутията и ако има нужда в горния и край да се направят допълнително дупки. Мисля че ще се охлажда по-добре и шума ще е значително по-малък при ниско натоварване.
Similar question, I also have this inveter and am trying to connect it via RS485 port to my Seplos 2.0 (not 3.0) BMS. Don't know which battery setting to choose (LIB, LIC, LIP, LIL) for proper comm. For now I use the "USE'" full manual setting. On the MBS side there are also few protocol options to choose: PN, GRWT, VLTC, SF, Luxp. My suft v is UI 79 06.
@rcfly78vf51 I'm currently using it without batteries and it serves to save grid consumption . For example, with a load of 5KW when there is enough Sun, it generates 5KW and does not consume from the grid. But the only drawback is that it doesn't calculate the power of the second string, so at the moment I only use the first. And the fans are very noisy.
@aamirhussain3699 About $780 in Aliexpress. Its disadvantage is that it does not measure PV2. If you only have 1 string this will be perfect, and you will order with 1 MPPT option. Fans run very noisy above 2-3KW load. At the moment I still use it in bypass mode without batteries and I had loaded up to 9.5KW 5KW from the grid and 5KW from the panels, I even used welding machine but I think in bypass mode the current goes through a relay. I will add batteries to it soon.

Здравейте, аз съм сложил 4x100 Ач, реално от 5кв инсталирана може да се използва 1.2 - 1.3 кВ максимум. За 20кВ инсталирани ще може да се използват около 5 - 5.5 кВ. За 6 се съмнявам. Нощно време се губи около 1кВ, която самият инвертор харчи. Отне ми и доста време докато уцеля настройките на зареждане, но сега са ОК. Не бих инвестирал в тягови ако трябваше да започна сега. Не знам дали въпроса с BMS комуникацията има възможност за развитие, надявам се някой колега да е опитвал.
Any one knows were to download firmware for this inverter? Mine has the 79.02 version and Iam facing issue with PV2 which does not squeeze the solar panel to produce. I tried by swapping the solar panels between PV1 adn PV2 and only happens at PV2
And mine has this problem, in Smart ESS or Dess Monitor it does not show or measure the power of PV2, but it generates energy that you can see on the display or measure with an clamp meter. When I wrote this problem to Daxtromn, they replied that the problem is with the applications. Then I also wrote to Smart ESS, they replied that the inverter has only 1 power meter and so
@@aamirhussain3699 It doesn't show, which annoys me a lot. I asked both Daxstromn and Smart ESS why it doesn't show PV2 in the app, one said the app doesn't support it, the other told me the inverter only has 1 ammeter. I connected them both in PV1.
Здравей Колега, ЧНГ! Имам същият - как може да се осъществи комуникация с BMS? аз виждам само RS232 (на RJ45) ? Същевременно ако се използва този порт се губи възможността за връзка със сървър. Писах на продавача, но без отговор. Вътре като го разглобиш има ли други портове? Please, not another Chinese made, low surge, short lived, lightweight, high frequency, transformerless inverter. With no output transformer you'll be lucky to get even two years of service out of this cheap inverter.
It is rubbish design :( small radiators, fans blowing air down?!? Lack of proper amount of capacitors on bus, only one poor core coil on output filter?!? No battery current measurement and many more... Do not buy it
