Its a sorry state of affairs. Without even studying the original Bhagavatam text at least to an introductory level, the speaker has the audacity to talk on it. Further more depressing is responsible institution like GIPA has invited the speaker who has not even an iota of capability of understanding the original work. People are mislead by good delivery of speech rather than content. No dought the speaker is a well known scholar on kannada sahitya, but that alone does not deserve to be invited to talk on very serious subjects. Hope GIPA does not commit such blunders. Its so obvious the speaker does not have the ability to directly quote the Bhagavatam versus and then give a deep insight into it.
I am sorry. Do you know Kannada? I doubt that you listened to the whole speech and wrote this comment. It is more depressing when scholars ( I somehow consider you one, now that you have commented on a scholar) don't want commoners like us to know Bhagavanta. I wish God considered this also as a sin. :) To a common person like me this video is a blessing and it has given me strength more than anything in this world.
