There is a lease agreement which is of 11 months and it contains an option to extend it for further 2 years so at initial inception the lessee evaluates that they are not going to exercise the option so they actually treated it as an exception to the ifrs 16 but after 11 months lessee exercises the option to extend the lease for further 2 years so now will it be accounted for under ifrs 16 or exception to IFRS 16?
If we contract to use a car for unidentified period for exchange of consideration, so will it be a lease contract, where we have to take present value using perpetuity formula or will it not be a lease contract and the rentals will be expensed out when incurred?
Sir you have not covered standards like IAS 24 , IFRS 8 , etc. I have heard that these standards are important for SBR. Can you please upload the remaining important standards revisions.
