Day 1 at Saab Owners' Convention 2018! 

Day one at the Owner's Convention was amazing :) My day 2 coverage will go live on Saturday, with plenty more special Saabs to be shown! It's so weird for me to see this since i see most of these cars daily in Sweden. Personally i daily my 2007 9-3 aero sc and i love it!

Saabs are a class act. You got the 9-5 turboX. Yes faster but more matenience. You are hooked and will always have one. A person can have a more expensive car but not a more tasteful car in design or engineering. What's not to love?

That 9-5 Aero at 14:04 is my old car! That's so cool! The owner actually just sent me a bunch of pics about a month ago of his work, and I was ecstatic to see the car being taken such good care of. I sold it with a bad head gasket, and I'm very happy to see it in such good hands and not just parted out. Great to see it at SOC!

The spoliers for both the ng9-5 and og9-5 at 21:28 & 22:03 are Saab original spoilers, not hirsch or maptun, great content from SOC, looking forward for more, how awful that you had to struggle with a cold over there!

Didn't know the TiDs were ever marketed in the US! The TTiDs (1.9 twin turbo diesel) are good engines, go very well with a stage 1 map whilst still getting 50mpg!

This is so cool, too bad we dont have anything like SOC at where I live. This is probably a ton of saab experience. We also have 2 saabs and one of them is aero diesel with twin turbo.

Are diesel cars not that popular in the States? my 93 1.9 twin turbo, turbo edition is awesome, 180hp but still gets around 49mpg, but it doesn't matter if its petrol or diesel, 8 years since they stopped making them and Saab is still going strong, I love Saab.

I don't know whether someone's all ready asked this....but The nice linear at the beginning Did your friend change the main clock binnacle? I ask because the linear came without boost gauge. If so did he have to tech 11 divorce then tech 11 marry? Lastly ,I would assume the wiring for the boost gauge was already In the loom as we're the folding mirror looms. Many thanks.

That was a 1.9tid diesel engine very solid reliable engine from fiat. U can have it in 1.9ttid dubbel turbo 180hp in Sweden

Some nice Saabs. Some are bastardised with aftermarket crap. The 1998-2005 Saab 9-5 is lovely, the later Dame Edna refresh cheeped out GM style IMO.

hopefully someone can help me out here but i just got a saab 9-3 turbo4 completely stock with 84k miles and it’s my first car that i really want to do upgrades to. i thought about a cold air intake and cheaply changing the exhaust for better sound. are there any reccomendations on how to start modifying a car? and how would i be able to enter my saab stage 1? Thanks!

Hey man, i have been thinking about buying a Saab 9-3 with 6 gears manual from 2007-2009, for a long time now, but I am not sure which type of engine to get. I will mostely use it to drive to university and other adjacent areas. I have read that the 1.9 TiD has a DPF that requires from the owner to drive for at least 20 min in order to warm it up. Then I was thinking about the 1.8t bio power engine but i dont really know how reliable they are and how much gas milage I will get. should I maybe just stick with a 1.8i engine with 122 hp? Also what should I look for if I want a reliable saab 9-3? I would appriciate an answer since I am in desperate needs of a new car at the moment.

Any idea where to get interior leather door pulls for the 9-3?
