Reminds me of Dauntless, looks cool

this game looks like it'll be awesome so long as the devs continue to work on it and update it.

Hoping to see more of this. It looks to be right up my alley, but need to upgrade my PC before I can play.. and that is going to take a long while.

Wind sounds are aweful. Heavy handed attempt at immersion. Same with the combat sound effects. Hitting a mob that doesnt react to your impacts at all while throwing in obnoxious contact sound effects is a huge fail. Kinda killed what otherwise looked fun

Looks great but seeing some rather disparaging reviews on Steam already. Not a good start. Thank you for taking the time to show us some gameplay!

Don't think comparing this game to Monster Hunter is a good thing. There's obviously the hunting of monsters, but that's not what makes Monster Hunter what it is. I'm looking at the different gameplay mechanics and I don't really see anything. The crafting system doesn't come even close to resembling the crafting system of MonHun. It's more focused on upgrades and unlocking stuff for housing and building, rather than armors and weapons. The gameplay loop of farming resources from kills to upgrade stuff is similar, but it's not like that's unique to MH, either. I guess having the ability carve monsters is similar? I just don't see it. It's definitely closer to BoTW than MonHun. I guess the other chunk of the game is the combat, but that isn't even remotely the same, and making the comparison will bring MonHun players to critique it as if it were a rival to the MonHun series, which will bring some harsh criticisms. The previous two games that tried to encroach onto MonHun territory just couldn't hack it. Let it be what it is. Not every difficult action combat game is a "soulslike" and not every monster hunting game is Monster Hunter.

Looks like a very interesting blend of Monster hunter/Zelda/Conan Exiles. Had to double check this isn't made by Pocket Pair who have a very bad track record of starting EA games and never finishing anything (Overdungeon, Craftopia, Palworld) This is developed by Massive Damage, Inc. who do have 2 finished games under their belt, with this entry being their 1st foray into this kind of genre.

i hope you make several epsidoes with this one, looks like it has a lot of content to explore!

Combat looks 'floatie' with little to no feedback from hits, the portal to transport materials back is a terrible idea.

So much of the same kinds of games, give me a game where I can’t catch or kill the monsters and can only level up by gathering, crafting and running away successfully from massive horrifying creatures 😂 Only half joking lol- game looks fun though

If this game gets too successful, Nintendo would surely find a dumb reason to sue this game

The combat looks terrible. Movement isn't grounded, you're like floating/gliding while attacking. And the monsters don't even react to getting hit. Way too floaty to be any fun

Looks similar to zela/genshin/any other weird survival title the last 4 years. Seriously there is Enshrouded and Frozen Flame.. Those games have the same fidelity as this.

how are the worlds? can my friends login to our world with me offline, or does world master have to be logged in?

this combat just looks very underdevlope.. u are hitting the creature while in air even though u are like 10feet away from it. and not even facing it.. yah i think i am going to have to pass on this game for like a year intill they fix that. also saw u clip into the creature while u are on your back and the npc helper was working on the bench while facing away from it and being over 5-6 feet away from it but randomly teleports back once u touch the table. now i see y it is early access or a cashgrab on ppl that like monster hunter games.

No hate on the game but comparing it to MonsterHunter is neither good for this game or is it even remotely close. Personally i feel like its a wish version of Enshrouded.....

I had to get a refund on this game. It looks beautiful, but is sooooooo bad, I couldn’t even select a male character and then, I couldn’t make a character, the game needs a lot of work, but have a lot of potential

It literally looks like a downgraded immortal: phenix rising. From health bars, to flight, to leveling, to similar gameplay. The only thing that's different so far is the dismantling/monster hunter formula, and the goofy ass combat mechanics. Were gonna see.

Make sure to dismantling the benches when you're done out in the world and the extra primal anvil.

Crazy idea: create a 2nd channel with a bunch of playlists of your continuations of games. Dont play continuations? Outsource them to your little brother and just do them with no audio. Lol

Bosses are massively overtuned. All but impossible to defeat because every attack they do one shots you and some of the attack are unavoidable. Game has a long way to go before it could be considered good, lots of QoL needs to be done, going into the escape menu to access your inventory to change weapons is straight out of 1985, grappling is super janky and almost uncontrollable, combat needs a complete overhaul imo, specially waekpoint attacking and mounting. And there's lots of stuff that just appears to not work quite right. I cant make a cauldron because the aquapods become indestructible once they're open so I can't process the cores. So my progression is soft locked rn.
