KL looks fantastic, it has an adelaide vibe, tree lined, clean, arty, even the scooters ... we have electric trams and trains, masks must be worn on public transport but adelaide is surrouned by parklands so perfect for picnics, and its a tram or train ride to many of our beaches...and construction yeah its full on...KL is a future friendly city for sure .

Guys you MUST witness the merdeka parade its on 31st aug. Hv your camera and malaysian flag ready. Food tips: try roti tissue and ramly burger. Enjoy your stay and experience malaysian hospitality.

You guys should visit KLCC park, just behind Petronas Twin Towers. At night (8.30 pm) they have musical fountain and it is free. Great angle to take pics too.

Skateboarding is allowed on the sidewalks, no problems. As for the skybridge at the twin towers, tickets are a bit pricey, but the views are amazing.If u do go up, ask the staff where the washroom is (its hidden but the view is fantastic).If you want to have local drinks, go to the many restaurants called mamaks and ask for teh tarik (milk tea)

Hi Mario and Olivia. Glad you both like KL so far. Come visit Pulau Ketam (Crab Island) on a day trip or stay over if you want. It is very easy to get there. Go to KL Sentral and take a train to Port Klang. Opposite the the train station is the ferry terminal where you take the short ferry ride to Pulau Ketam. I am sure you will be fascinated how the islanders live. On your return trip to KL also by the same train stop by Klang to look around and do not forget to taste our specialty - Bak Kut Teh, you will love it. Hope i will be able to bum into both of you. Yes our national day is on August 31. You can actually view the parade in front of the Merdeka Square and its totally free to watch. Its the large field with the tallest flag pole and old colonial buildings. Btw, you can walk through the Petronas twin towers to the other side and there is a massive free park there with a fountain that lights up at night.

Please wear a mask when you enter places. Please don't go into the Bukit Nanas tunnel. It's a tunnel dug a long time ago and it's not open.

Local food : ICC pudu chinese food China town jalan petaling chinese food Little india brickfields, south indian food Kampung baru Last village in KL. Malay food.

Try fresh coconut.....every where u can spot....about RM 5 to 7....don't pay more....

You traveled from butterworth to KL and did not go to Penang Island?? From butterworth you can take jetty and enter Penang in 15 mins. Penang is great.

U should see petronas towers at night after rain. The foggy night with the lights shining on petronas towers looks like gotham city. Or something coming out from an anime. 😁

There’s a 6 storey mall inside the Petronas Twins Towers with plenty of food and large food court on level 2, and when you walkthrough to other side there is a beautiful park with fountain and light show at night, that begins at 8pm

Honestly Malaysians we don't walk .....🤪...we prefer walking in the mall ....not outside..it's too hot ☀️

Visit Jalan Alor for in-city malaysia cuisine, plenty there. Brickfields also have for starts. If you travel interstate, go to Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuantan-pahang, melaka & kelantan state. The food there was amazing.

Hi, first of all, welcome to Malaysia!! i think there are free bus around KL city, similar to Georgetown area in Penang (FYI i am a Malaysia abroad, also Malaysians are more used to on our own transport instead, hence please pardon me and many of us). You may wanna to try to ask around and take the free bus around the city and save some of your budget for other things too. Additionally the bus stop in most tourist spots around the city which will ease your way. Wish you a wonderful and fruitful Malaysia trip. Other than KL, you may wanna to visit Penang (a truly melting pot mix of cultures, religions and people with colourful heritage and old world charm......)

If you want to eat local food, you have to check out other tourists that have been in Malaysia for this month (especially in Kuala Lumpur ). Check out their videos on RU-vid as reference to located where is the best place to eat.👍✌

Food: breakfast : roti canai (various types), nasi lemak, lontong Food : lunch/dinner : satay, nasi kandar, nasi campur, char kuey teow, mee kari (curry noodles) Drinks: teh tarik (pulled tea), milo ais (iced milo), sirap bandung (rose syrup + milk), neslo (nescafe+milo). Welcome to Malaysia. Cheap restaurants are everywhere and don't forget to go to night market (pasar malam). Ask around - don't worry, Malaysians will be excited to help.

Go to any Mamak (Indian Muslim)eateries and order teh tarik (pulled tea) or any pop up drinks vendors on the street for cold coconut or sugarcane drinks . You can ride the free bus in the KL to go around

Try kampung baru or jalan alor.. kampung more preferable for halal food.. but still both are good👍🏻

i really wish u could have a try on Drink known as COCONUT MILKSHAKE (Sell at stall near Nasi Lemak Wanjo- Just ask people around..hehe) and also u can try also a drink known as MILO TABUR (its very local syle and bit fancy)

Also near china town, there is also madras lane famous for curry noodles, yong tau foo and other local food.

Plz goto Kampung Baru, there're plenty of local food n drinks u can try. (very near to city centre)

Go to ICC Pudu to try out the delicious food there. Many stalls and many choices to choose from. But must go early in the morning before the food sold out.

I highly recommend you guys goimg to Bangsar! Its where i grew up and it has malls around eg.Mid Valley,The Gardens, Bangsar village ect. And many restuarants which has all the local foods of malaysia and the perfect place to go if you want to explore the different foods!

Go to Kg Bharu area for Malay cuisine. It is the only traditional malay kampung (village) in the city.... u can see petronas tower fr there too
