Watching you in Korea. Got to know your channel recently and have been enjoying it. Glad to watch your camino from the beginning "real time". Look forward to it.
What a joy to see you again in Spain doing the Camino. I'm from Madrid and I didn't know where it came from, not even where the church of Santiago is. 😘😘😘😘
Hahahahaha!!! There is no marker to start the way. I’m not surprised you didn’t know about the Camino. Most locals thought I was in transit to start somewhere on the Camino Frances.
Yay! Glad to see the vlog and happy you're back here in Spain. Very innovative way to walk out of Madrid but still stay in a cheap ish place. Pleasepleaseplease post a gear video when you can.
Looking good on another Camino trek with a new purple shirt! That's a great price on trekking poles. Great seeing you happy on another trail, especially after your CDT adventures with big snowstorm and other weather disasters.
Hey old man , I'm a cheap old guy . I got my poles from Costco for 29.00 they are carbon fiber with cork handles and quick releasing lock mechanism with different foot pads . I'm not making extra money playing drums for a jazz band but did travel as a roadie in the mid 80s around the PNW.
@@willardwooten9582 I'll be hiring you as a roadie for the next gig, I'm tired of hauling drums around!😉 Yeah, my poles are Costco specials, $25 or so, not nearly as fancy as yours and rarely carry or use them unless I'm hiking on snow or I'm overnighting on purpose.
I am dying over here in a Spanish bar. Laughing really loud. 😭. There are four old guy playing cards looking at me like I’m loco. The best..... “I’m not making extra money playing drums I a jazz band” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They have always shipped beer in Spain, many years ago there was wine. But young people who are more consuming burgers consume beer. Greetings from Madrid
@@SaraDhooma Oh, Sara, I am so sorry this happened to you. I was grateful to hear that you are safe now. I hope you will have a chance to heal after this trauma. I am soo sorry that you had to experience this... shouldn't happen to any woman... ever. My wife and I send our heartfelt wishes and hopes for your camino and life! Steve
I finished my CDT journey for 2019! I am going to do a ‘Triple Tiara’ year In 2020 finishing up all my missing ‘big 3’ trail sections. Crater Lake area on the PCT (fire/snow in 2018), Winds & Colorado on the CDT, and New England has AT (Connecticut to Maine) with the grand finish on Mama K!!!!
Not too be picky but with all the time you've spent in Spain, you should maybe learn some Spanish. The beer is "Ma-oo" or in the south "Meow." Silent H. I was in Madrid at the same time as you. Walked through El Sol numerous times. Stayed on the Calle Atocha.
Thanks for letting me know! I have taken Spanish classes, but it doesn’t seem to stick unfortunately. I do practice and try to communicate in Spanish with locals along the Camino. It is slowly improving!
