Beautiful car bro, I have a 21 gt that I might trade in after a year or 2 of the S650 coming out just because I don't want to rush into anything and see if the new Mustangs hold up manufacturing wise. You picked an awesome color and spec and respect for keeping the manual going strong, Enjoy her buddy!!
Nice looking car - quick question, what are your thoughts on the screens…I am super old school…and the direction all the cars have been heading is crazy…none-the-less congratulations.
I came from a 2020 Mustang GT and didn't like the new screens at first... but once you see it in person and start driving with them you'll love it. I now prefer the screens over the s550 dash
As someone who is 60 years old I did my very best to keep an open mind and try to convince myself that once I learn the system it will be fine. So my honest opinion is that there are to many breaks in how things would logically work. Phones, basic radio seem very lethargic. There are certainly impressive graphics and it does have many options but to me it’s too much work for something that could be much simpler. Love the drive, however to me, simple knobs for audio, climate would be better (to each their own). One HUGE flaw is in the front wheel wells where there are perfectly placed openings where stones and debris are tossed into. I’ve posted videos on my RU-vid Chanel showing the openings, the damage that occurs and what I did to fix ours.
Just FYI for anyone new to the S650 (or going to buy one) - per the OEM Ford mustang owners manual the break in period is a whole 1000 miles. It took forever to reach it 😭
I'm not saying you should have had a raffle to pull the plastic off the screen. But you should have had a raffle where the winner can pull the plastic off the screen.
Where does it say anything about a mileage for break-in ? Specifically where exactly does this magical mileage number appear ? ..... too bad it's raining on the first day with the car , good luck with the car.
Never buy the first year of a new model car. BTW, 2024 Mustang still has the BBQ tick. And new for 2024 is an underbody issue. Check right behind the front wheels. Giant weep holes that fill with road grit. Gonna rot the underbody. And you dropped $60k? What's your note? Crazy.
The base mustang GT is 100% great value but if you’re looking at a loaded GT premium vs Supra 3.0 hard choice but id say Supra wins that fight. I hope to have both at some point.
@@zachyoung1987 I’d rather have 30K base mustang than 44k base Supra. Supra is lighter but so will you pockets be for maintenance Since the Supra and BMW share the same platform
@@cazbantu4233 I got ya I’m comparing the GT vs inline 6 Supra, no one should buy the 4 cylinder Supra or mustang for a true performance car in my opinion! However I actually own a Supra and no maintenance other then oil changes, maybe means I’m Bias but I also use to work for Toyota corporate Toyota went over the vehicle to their standards for reliability and if you look at most reliable brands bmw is near the top now thanks to the partnership. So I’m not worried but I understand the concern. But basically what I was getting at in my post earlier is if you max a GT premium it’s about 62-63k and Supra is about 61-62k I’d say the Supra is the better car comparing those two.
