Very good presentation and useful, thank you so much Madam, my Organisation paid student membership fees on Jan 2020, however, my membership expired on 31 December 2020. Therefore, need to registered before I take CIPS Exam model 2 on 18 Jan 2021, appreciate if you can advise. Because of COVID - 19 at present i am in my country, thank you and wish you all Happy New Year 2021.
Hi thank you for your message and happy new year to you too. Membership renewals are due from 1st date of the relevant month. So if your account expired 30 December you can still access your MyCIPS account until the end of January. You will need to renew your membership to book and attend further exams. I paid for student membership last December 19, hoping to study while in Christmas Break. But up to now, I still dont have any access. I've reached out to the helpdesk and their response is "Please be advised that this query has been escalated to our IT team for further assistance, however they are out of the office for the Christmas and new year period and do not return to work until 4 January" So basically, CIPS havent planned ahead for this type of scenario? Where people will buy membership hoping to get access as soon as possible. And yet I need to wait until January 4!!! Wow just wow! What a nice first impression🙄
Hi and so sorry to hear that you've not been able to access your new account. It is very unusual that this would happen as once your membership is paid for your account should be accessible very quickly as all MyCIPS services should be accessible using your membership ID and password. Assuming that your membership account is up to date, I do hope your access issues have now been resolved.
