This practice was a workout, I was sweating and my heart was pumping and I didn't have an asthma attack, I love that my body is getting stronger along with my lungs. Amazing, Sat Nam
Done week one twice and then started week 2 now repeating week 2 because I want to repeat each week twice and it's so interesting because the ones that were difficult to begin with now easy, strength, posture and mental clarity improvement. My body's metabolism has sped up and digesting improved as well+ been able to eliminate negativities from my mind, I am super happy with this seeing amazing results couldn't thank you enough! ☺️
This was a challenging one for me! I felt quite tight in the beginning and started loosening up in the middle of it! It definitely generated a lot of heat and sweat closer to the end. And felt very calm, clear minded and more energised by the end of it. Thank you, Mariya. :) Will definitely work more on this one to improve!
Today’s session does a wonderful job opening up and adjusting the lower spine. I have scoliosis in this section of the spine. So grateful! My hips were making cracking sounds during the sit-ups with the legs slightly apart in front. Ever since giving birth, this happens. My knees were cracking a lot doing the frogs. The body is opening up more and more, although creaking.
This is wonderful for my spine! It helps the scoliosis. At the end you say 108 of the frog pushups. And you end after about 28. I paused the tape and did 3 more sets of 28! With blessings from my dear hubbie and my pet Chiweenie. I didn’t know I could do that! Bliss you and thank you Mariya!
Day 10 Complete! This a fantastic introduction to this style of yoga. I am hooked! Yesterday and today causing a lot of pain to an old injury site, but I will just keep at it gently. This is really the best yoga I have ever done. The only thing is I have been doing it at the end of the day and having terrible sleep, my brain is buzzing away all night, I assume this is due to building up too much energy in the practice. I will try to find time earlier in the to do it and see what happens.
Oh God why am I so tight in the hips really... quite like my grandma, although i think even she could do better. I'm glad this exercise helped me a little! I am practicing yoga regularly since 5 years now, seeing no big difference in my hip flexibility. Do you have any advice on this Mariya ? SAT NAM
Not really, just keep up with your practice, do what you can and feel good about it 😊🙏 Flexibility, resilience and stamina grow with time but everyone has a weak side, enjoy whatever you can do and listen to your body.
Beth indeed instructions are for 108 if you want to do the whole thing but for the sake of this program we are doing the minimum. You can always do more if you have the time and energy, frogs are good for you :))) M
Beth, you reach YOUR limits and push a little bit harder. There are no levels in kundalini yoga. You received according to the energy you invest in it. But multifold.
I find wide leg poses very difficult. I have no forward movement in them and my pelvis keeps tilting back even with my bottom raised, so today was definitely the most difficult since the beginning. I'll keep at it though and maybe repeat this day at intervals.
This time whilst chanting Harr I got into hysterics of laughter. I just found the thing so funny. Loving the practice and I can see a difference in my energy levels :)

I am glad. There are so many benefits of frog pose. Improves hip mobility and may ease back pain. Frog Pose may alleviate low back tightness, ease sciatica pain, and strengthen the back.
This was extremely hard for me. Splits hurt, and I could not get up at all while doing the exercise when I was lying down with arms crossed... I will not give up though. This i my first time doing these 40 days. :)

Today wasn't easy, everything was a challenge, except for the holding the elbows/lying flat and getting back up. I burped a lot then my nose started to run, then my ear began itching, do you know why this would have happened? #LearningHowToBlossom
This one cleanses you and gets your physical body working! I didn't have the burping but my nose definitely ran. It gets your whole system going, doesn't it?
Thanks Mariya I am not sure if it was related but after this session until today I suffered with severe low back pain strange sensation in my hips and neck and shoulder pain possibly some stiffness. I decide not to proceed with any more sessions until I feel better hopefully look forward to starting again tomorrow thanks Aisha x
I had to place a folded towel under my buttocks to support me during the split poses, or else my upper body wouldn't budge an inch. Thx for the good workout!
Alyson Peters, Yogi Bhajan does not recommend use of stimulants like caffeine. I make yogi tea using blend of black peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon, cardamon and ginger. I leave the mix of these ingredients on the bottom of my coffeemaker using a black tea bag in the place of the filter. The raw spices need time to brew as the black tea blends the formula together. This way, you can use the minimum of caffeine. Still, I find yogi tea the most addictive and stimulating thing! Trust me.
Thank you so much Natalia! I gave up coffee and found this amazing stuff called Yerba Mate. It is made from the naturally caffeinated leaves of the celebrated South American rainforest holly tree. It has worked great for clarity and no caffeine crash. :-) I love doing these videos. Life changing!
@@alysonpeters8737 we drink mate in Argentina like people drink coffee in other countries. It's a lot more natural and doesn't have as much of the caffeine equivalent.
