The Long Trail is a 272-mile hiking trail in Vermont, running from the Massachusetts border to Canada. Established in 1910, it follows the Green Mountains and is popular for both day hikes and long-distance backpacking. It is managed by the Green Mountain Club.
I hiked the first 100 miles earlier this year on my 2,198 mile trek of the Appalachian Trail. Now, I’m solo-backpacking the final 170. Let’s get it!

Thank you. Like do many have commented this past year your postings have entertained and brought joy into my life. Thai last vlog was from your heart mind and sole. The purity of your emotions concluding your last two hikes of the AT and the Long Trail were representative of who you are and the bases of woman you are going forward. I have a fair number of AT Thru Hiker year long list for the past two years. I have so wanted to have their strength and accomplishments be my life. So many questions about them post AT completion , did they get out of the trail what they wanted or needed. Will they go through the post trial depression as do many do and will they explain that to me. I so wish to know what you do next but that is my desire and likely not yours. So Sass thank you , continue as who you are for you are so very special of a life force. And I will pray for your next journey . Love you . ❤😊

Nice work! Thru hiking the LT is one of my proudest accomplishments because it’s so dang hard. I’m glad you persevered and didn’t wipe out on any of those sketchy-ass descents. “Enjoy the ascents because the descents will kill you,” was some truthful graffiti I saw on an LT shelter.

Congratulations on your hike. Loved the bonus hike after your AT hike. Watching your videos every morning was a nice way to start the day. Your attitude on both hikes was refreshing and motivating. Sad to not get a daily video, but looking forward to your next adventure.

Great hike…thanks for sharing! Camels hump reminded me of when I was 6 or 7yo. I was running down from its summit and just stopped before running over a cliff…maybe my parents were calling for me to wait for them. Thanks for your sharing lovely views and your descriptions of it all!🙂🙏

"I'm going to pack up for the last time, for a long time." The LT series was different from the AT. Hard, technical hiking while alone presented new challenges and discoveries.
