Here is my perspective of Marissa,,,,She is very caring, very energetic and likes to keep on top of things and she is very busy,,,But at the end of the day she loves to feel that she has accomplished many things and had a very productive day. She cares about those around her and always makes sure everyone has eaten and has everything they need...I don't see that she is stressed, but at the end of the day she is mind exhausted and needs to find a way to relax before going to bed, A warm bath, a cup of warm chocolate, perhaps a neck rub or a foot rub...( hint-hint Dennis). While others is responsible for one or two things, she is responsible for many things because she is the lady of the house. She is very thankful for Mariben's help and Mariben loves helping her. so Marissa and Mariben I applaud you, and you Dennis for keeping things afloat. WE ALL wait on your video everyday and enjoy each and every one....congratulations on your new house additions. Marissa, keep getting up everyday and tell yourself "I got this"☺🤗❤
Marissa, I see you as caring, not stressed. Dennis, I love your blatant honesty. I did miss Samelyn today, but enjoyed your Chika Chika, and I thought lunch looked amazing! Thank you for all that you do, guys. ❤❤
Dennis those big cinder blocks here in America are over $2.00 a piece now. Very expensive considering the 30 PHP you paid for the hollow blocks. Most people here don't understand the hollow blocks are mainly a form. Once you fill them with concrete or cement and you render them with a inch or 1 1/2"'s of cement on the outside and inside of the hollow block wall once it all cures it's a plenty strong wall you end up with.
Hello guys, about the tacos.. suggestions: Filipino knows how to make homemade tortillas: "flour*corn, *chips: doesn't have to be tacos, nachos, burrito *etc...tell them to show manager on Google Mexican dishes; like you said, a business to listen to them customers with ideas /to pass to management for business.. Filipinos are great hard workers, in Guam where Born they come into the island for various jobs that the government needs..take care & stay well
I love your videos and appreciate your time and effort to post daily. Most vlogs I watch only post once a week. You should take some time off now and concentrate on the work being done on your home. We definitely will not leave you and will understand.
I'll make a suggestion... paint the roof the whitest white that you can. I'm going to do mine that way when I get to that part of the build. It will keep the heat out much better.
Hi Guys! Good to see Dennis laugh and smile. Thanks for the explanations regarding local materials. Here in Thailand a haircut cost 4 or 5 USD. Not sure about the cost in the Philippines. Either way a great value.
Wow they have rosarita Beans and frozen burrito at the grocery market. I'll be happy when I return. Love your show and learning how construction happens.
I wish Bohol had grocery stores like by you. We do not have any of those things you bought. We have only two grocery stores and both have limited foreign foods. I agree, it makes no sense not selling something like a hamburger because there is no lettuce. I heard this happens quite a bit, if one small item is missing they won't sell that item. The manager and/or the owner should be coaching the workers what to do to make the customer happy. Here in Bohol we hear chainsaws going a lot which means someone is building something, They cut the tree down for the lumber.
Hello, I hope you're all doing well. I'm loving the videos and it's great to see the progress on the extension. As I've only recently discovered your channel (in the last two months) I'm a bit lost with certain things so wondered if you can answer the following questions; Do you always shop at the supermarket or do you also shop at the market ? How is Maribin related to you and has she worked as a chef? If anyone else reading this knows the answers please feel free to give me a response. Many thanks
@@americanfilipinadestiny345 thanks for the response. I hope you all have a great day and I'm looking forward to seeing the next video tomorrow which is usually around midnight my time 😉 Hopefully I'll get to see your beautiful country next year 😊
You go back and forth to town to many times, Make a List, plan snacks for multiple days and shop once! Use a Note Pad and make a list so you don't forget anything. Hope this helps.
Yes fresh is the best my filipina wife buys her fruits and vegetables once a week and they stay pretty fresh in the ref. We try to limit our trips due to the high cost of gas here in the US, inflation has really hit us hard. Thanks for the reply.

Hello , I couldn't get a Bakery to sell Me a bottle of pop unless I stayed there and drank it. I offered to pay for the glass bottle, and They told Me No. I just smiled and walked away. Now I Laugh about it every time I think about it. Take care.
I noticed that when you are shopping in Tagum especially in canned goods, you don’t look at the ingredients and nutrients information especially when sugar is added and saturated oil in it. It’s better to buy food without preservative and msg. But I noticed that you have been using msg in the food that you cook. But anyway as long as you are comfortable and happy with it, that’s most important. I have been watching your videos and really enjoying watching them. Take care always.
Hi Dennis how are you just would like to say stop eating that canned food it’s not good for you just a recommendation my wife’s from the Philippines and when I go to the Philippines all the eat is fresh food my wife would not let me eat that canned food so just a thought thanks for the great videos enjoy watching you guys keep up the good work👍 and also it goes for all that frozen food in a box I just noticed in the video too
Looks like a salad would’ve gone well with the meal , as for the taco incident I would’ve ask for rice with the taco ingredients cause I do that sometimes at home. Are you guys planning to put solar panels ?
HI GUYS!! Love your channel. I've been a subscriber for a loooong time. I just wanted to ask a question on the roof of the extension. It appears they are leaving a valley between the existing and the new roofs. How will drainage be handled? Seems an invitation for leaks.

Don’t worry Dennis it’s happening in America as well I told a manager that I blame him because it’s all in the training and it comes from the top. If something sucks they need to know
could you please tell what the amount in american dollars are when you buy something like the tip for the restaurant 1000 pesos how much is that in american dollars you never say how much in american dollars most of us don't know what pesos amount is in american dollars by the way I never miss one of your shows every day I watch love you guys.
Many times I do convert to american dollars. The rate of conversion of peso to dollar changes daily. The average rate of exchange is 50 pesos equal to 1 US dollar. Google it.
Hello friends, you are choosing too many canned goods and packaged mashed potatoes is so bad for your diet. Your wife can learn to make homemade mashed potatoes? Sorry to be negative but just being concerned cause we love you all
