These workouts are helpful mentally and physically. I am studying and the 10 minutes is enough on my break periods. I will keep this in my repertoire for when time is not of the essence!
Love the energy. Anna and Gabby are so much fun. You both have contagious attitudes and are just so darn cute. I do this workout about 4-5 times a week. It always puts me in a happy mood. Thank you so much and please create more.
also- i don't understand the complaints in the commentary. the movements are simple, and thus do not require extensive explanation. i appreciate that she's strong and well mannered!
I love the leg lifts from the mat - to the side (near impossible but any movement is better than none) and especially up behind, lifting half then whole leg. Puts the strength where I need it and does NOT strain what I don't want strained!!! Thanks!
Love this one! Targets all problem areas AND gets your heart rate going. I like to do it after another longer cardio workout to focus on my glutes and legs. Her cues are easy to follow. I want a 30 minute version!!!
I used to do variations on this years ago when I watched my now adult daughter take ballet as a child. I had foot surgery and needed to strengthen my leg and foot muscles to recover and would just intuitively do these moves, and felt quite the difference. How awesome it's been turned into an official workout anyone can enjoy! :)
I only had a few minutes. I found her fast instruction helped me keep pressing forward; no time to think about it and really helped in waking me up at 515am.... I am exhilarated and not worn out; but definitely worked out! Thanks so much!!
I really appreciate this "low impact" style of workout -- it was just what I needed! Typical routines that involve a lot of jumping jacks or jumping / jogging in place make my head hurt and my vision a bit starry. Feels like my brain is constantly pounding the inside of my skull! Maybe that's normal, but I feel it can't be good... So thanks, Anna -- I'd never have known about cardio barre if not for your excellent videos! :D This particular one took many views before I was able to replicate all the movements, though, haha! It would have been helpful if the instructor had done each motion once very slowly before going into a quick series of each, just to make it perfectly clear and easy to see what is actually being done, for those less coordinated, like me. ;) Still, a great workout! Thank you! ^-^
I had heart surgery 6 MJ the ago and am just returning to exercise. Thank you for posting this low impact class as it’s helping me get back to normal. ❤❤
I advise anyone about to do this workout to watch the video BEFORE attempting it. The instructor speaks very fast and it can be hard to understand all of the movements as you go.
I don't understand the hate on this video. My favorite barre burn instructor switched gyms and I'm looking for some videos to help me at home and this is perfect for those who are familiar with barre and already know the proper form.
It was fast, but all you have to do is watch it and the thing is, the speed is what you're supposed to do I think. Just follow them exactly and you'll really feel it. I actually like this video.
As a dancer, this kills me to watch. I mean, I'm sure it's a good workout but she doesn't do things right. her legs were turned in on the tondus and her relevé was a rise
yeah like... i can hear my teacher's voice inside my head, yelling "TURN OUT!", and all i can do is cringe. it's better to not do it at all than develop a bad habit. i'm sure it works for her but as a dancer, this is an example of what not to do.
A bit too quick for someone who's never done barre workout before. Also, description of the correct form would be fantastic. But a good heart-rate raiser for study breaks!
Geez, couldn't you guys spend a few bucks on music that fits with your workout rhythm? Or fit your workout to the beat of the music that you're playing. Why play any music if it doesn't match the workout beat? Distracting and annoying.
Really great workout moves and I appreciate low impact!... thank you for that. 👍🏽 However! Way too fast. Needed to make this a 15 minute workout to get the quality out of these moves. Too rushed. I will do it again but pause video to get more out of each move.
This was almost impossible to follow. I had no time to understand the movement she was doing before they were already to then next part. It just made me feel slow and frustrated
I think it helps if you've had a little bit of ballet/ jazz background. I see how you can get lost in it. It was okay for me, but I get like that with hiphop stuff... lost!
I like to do this routine but as a dancer i tend to turn out on the exercises. I found it real hard to keep flex and parallel in the leg pulses i kept on pointing 😂😂
I’m in shape I workout daily and I did this workout today and pulled my groin muscle so bad I think I need to go the ER.. plz don’t do this workout. It’s super dangerous
That's not actually 1st position, because in that case you're feets must be perfectly parallel to your body. You are using fifth position, that's for further knowledge ...
Would have preferred if the instructor focused more on what the movement should feel like (slowing it down for beginners) rather than hyper speeding as if everyone watching has done these moves before
It was way too fast to follow easily. If they did some practice moves first before speeding up, that would help a lot. A longer workout would be great.
These exercises don't really feel good to do if you're tall I think...it's easier to do tem if your more the height of the instructor. I've tried it a couple of times but nah...not for me
