Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day and to honour my Metis roots. I am playing a Metis tune. It’s a really fun one to play because it’s crooked and keeps you on your toes as you’re playing. I’ve heard so many of my Metis fiddling idols play this one from Andy Dejarlis to Mel Bedard to John Arcand to Gilbert Anderson.
