A recent Australian think-tank report came out, China is leading over 90% of the critical fields. China rise from the bottom of the rank to leading technological nation with the largest GDP(real production) in less than 2 generation is nothing outside of extraordinary.
With regard to Huawei, it’s self drive self park self summon that’s the selling point. Car park to car park self drive. The back seat comes with a projector. The slit is where the projector screen drop. There are a lot of other details with the car. You need to get the sales people to give you a tour. Otherwise it’s just another car with 4 wheels.
a lot of these Chinese EVs are beginning to look the same, especially the interiors, seems to be many common parts across these cars, door handles, steering wheels, dashboards, centre consoles, etc
Not really relevant to this particular video but I really would like your opinion. If you were ordering an EV this week would you go for the BYD Seal Premium or the XPeng G6 standard range? I’ve driven the Seal but haven’t been able to get to have a drive of the G6.
Depends on your needs. The Seal has a more traditional classic interior finish (think Merc) and is a sedan whereas the XPeng G6 is more contemporary on the inside (think Model Y). Software wise I think XPeng is better overall. I’ll probably do a walkthrough shortly of the XPeng G6 and comparison with other cars shortly …
@@LudicrousFeed thank you for the reply. The car is really used for normal everyday travel. 80km return to work daily and some weekend driving. Don’t really do road trips, have only driven more than 200km in a day once in the last 4 years. Also have access to free charging so that’s not an issue. Don’t need an SUV either but feel the BYD is lacking a little compared to G6 in tech so that’s why I’m also considering the G6. Is the Seal experience in any way hampered by the lower tech?
Apple CarPlay goes a long way to help … the Autosteer component of the cruise control is sadly lacking. I’m looking forward to the native trip planning software update which is apparently dropping soon
if i buy EV not just AU but China, i'll definitely lease it... particularly in China, no one knows which company will fold next year with so many of them
Has abit of a look of Las Vegas and all those people as well. That glass bridge at the end though, where's my parachute. Did you get a drink from the very interesting hotel bar?
