That's why the day in Banff was a little gear down and chill. Then after lunch you got to explore on your own before your big trip back home.
Nice video, years ago a friend went out to Canmore to visit another friend that was briefly living out there. He got all drunk at the bar and attempted to walk back to the other friends apartment, in the dead of winter, and got lost, I think he said it was -45 or something. He ended up waling into a random house, cops were called, but the cop (on the way to the drunk tank) told him he did the right thing, better than freezing to death in a snowbank.
Thanks and thank you for sharing that story. Sounded like a predicament but thankfully had a positive ending. I fell in love with this area easily. I was able to explore more of the place after camping. More on that in the coming videos...
