Breathtaking scenic painting! I love Erik Koeppel's methods. Gentle and calming. How fun... I feel like we're in a museum, or gallery! Thank you. (My husband and neighbor are first responders, both dealing with hospitalized co-workers and recent deaths of coworkers and patients. The stress is magnified when people don't think that they need to wear a mask. So happy to see you both being careful and honoring the health of each other.)
Eric, Incredible use of atmospheric perspective. Love the Hudson River School painters and the way they seemed to make their paintings glow. I believe many of them accomplished this by building and layering thin layers of transparent colors over each other. I’ve started painting again and designed a small studio to work around my disability and I must say you are truly inspiring. It just so happens that I purchased a really nice easel from the widow of the late Carroll Westfall who was a highly decorated WW 2 veteran and art restoration artist. I feel honored to have his easel in my little studio because he actually restored some Hudson River paintings on it! Perhaps one day I can take your course. ✌️🙂 Your work is stunning.
