Day 21 (8/12) - Highwood, Montana Harvest 

Thanks so much for sharing this journey, and an unknown part of America (at least to me) with us. The exacting precision, coordination, communication & teamwork was astounding: fields were harvested within inch margins, not a single grain overlooked. The dance of the tractors! This was impressive. As was the difficulty of the terrain: curves, mounds, slopes, no straight lines, yet the combing of the fields made it look like polishing glass. Getting to know the team, seeing a bit of daily life, was also exciting. Thanks again, Tracy. Hope to see you all next harvest.

Hello Tracy, big Sandy is where the world biggest big bud is 747. Couple farmers have it there farming north of the river on the bench thousand feet above the Missouri.

Wow!! Double Wow!! Incredible humongous fields of gold with those big combines tackling each piece with incredible results. You can see it by your cart driver doing her best to keep everyone going. Truck drivers too’ And yes, those drone shots tie the task ahead beautifully. We’ve been with you since the beginning and this year’s footage is definitely award-winning. This is SO much better with your drone footage. one can get the sense - watching the daily updates - that each day of the wheat harvest is very much boring, monotonous, redundant - loooong days ...and then suddenly it's over for another year. The best thing about it (in my view) is the crew comradery and friendship

My father was Iowa farmer (born in 1920). He briefly mentioned working on harvesting crew in later 1930s. I guess the equipment was much different. Maybe horse drawn. Your videos very interesting.

Nice to see that old thresher by the bin cannot imagine how they cropped all those acres years ago.

And yet you’re operating a fleet of John Deere combines and tractors; I am perplexed. I do, however, enjoy your videos and the beautiful scenery in the beautiful state of Montana. Ironically, I live just a few miles from New Holland Pennsylvania. 😊

Hello everyone. Memories comes to me when I saw the girl sleeping in the back when you're driving. I used to do that myself and ever since I've enjoyed travelling on the roads. Today I work as a busdriver and I feel those memories are useful now. Actually I remember learning how to read in the backseat of the car. I can bet it is a very nice to ride with you guys driving around the neighbourhood. Hope you're all well.

Good morning to Jim and you. Looks to be a fine day in Big Sandy. I was thinking that GPS and Auto steer has made cutting a lot easier then it use to be. I liked the part of off roading your combines around the road construction. You know there's only two seasons in Montana. Winter and Road construction. Have a great day and be safe.

Love this video! In the far north of the Netherlands the northern lights were visible last night. I assume it was also visible in Montana (but maybe it was too cloudy!). There were also shooting stars to be seen. Greetings from the other site of the ocean!

Just cannot get over the shear size of those fields there,I was wondering what the break crops where there and you mentioned chickpeas also looked like some old stubbles maybe blocks of land resting or in a set aside scheme.Whats happening in the UK is crazy taking land out of production to grow rubbish with a few wild flowers mixed in.O great footage thanks nice clean stubbles combines resemble paintbrushes as is goes from crop to stubble to chopped straw.

Any idea how many acres you’ll cut this year ? Of which how many are your own ? Great video keep it up. 👍

Why dont you get the combines to tow their own headers,it would save on a bit of time rather waiting on the headers to appear if the trucks get held up?
