Wonderful approach Arohana has halts in each swara and Avarohana like Waterfall without too much halting. Nice rendition of Nadaloludai which was very soothing. Standing in each swara and its explanation was very clear. The usage of Chess Board was very Good. Super Job.

Outstanding observation on this ragam and how it is moulded in the Krithi..naadaloludai...popularised first by Maharajapuram Santhanam! It is a great orientation by Radha bhaskar understanding of which encourages one to enjoy the krithi more and more...

Even in real life, if the Male dominates, the female is submissive and vice versa. So even in music when pa dominates, Ma has to be submissive and vice versa. The rules are the same everywhere!

@@mudhrabhaskar9440 Really!? If both dominated who will be submissive? If both dominated it will become like a two headed serpent, each head trying to decide which way to go! If each one says , "My way or the Highway 🛣️" what will happen? 🤔

Taking the same notes of the AarohaNam of KalyANavasantham in the AvaronaNam also , we get a beautiful Hindustani Raag known as Chandrakauns ! Of course , this Scale has not been successful in getting proper attention in the KarnAtic Style !

'Nee saati neeve ranga' of Dr Balamuralikrishna is a masterpiece in Chandrika ragam (the name given by him for Chandrakauns in Carnatic music). The swarakshara prayogas are so brilliant in this composition!!
