I visit Thailand pretty often. About 2 or 3 times a year. I think 300cc motorcycles or scooters are probably the best capacity for the roads around Phuket. I'm not sure I can find a road clear or long enough to ride around on bigger bikes and access that big end power. I tend to cruise around more in Thailand. Malaysia has a better combination of big long highways and twisties. A friend of mine just picked up a brand new xsr 900. Rode on it a little bit and loved it. Congratulations on the new bike. Ride responsibly out there in Thailand as much as you can. Stay safe
What LS2 helmet is that brotha? I love the look of the Gen 4. There's not much manufacturers can do with LED projectors anymore since 1 or 2 is all you need compared to the quad setup on the Gen 2. At least we as the owner dont have to stare at it while we ride 😅
@@Brian_R6 haha that’s a very good point! But I do like this one a lot more now. Especially at night with lights on it shows a different look. The helmet is the thunder GP Aero version great helmet!
@KristianKfitness Yeah I heard they show really good at night. If possible, you can do a night ride to show off the lights as well. Wishing you a safe journey onward, my friend 🙌
How is this compared to the GSX S750? In terms of seating position, smoothness, throttle reaction, front feel, steering, braking etc? I am considering one but not sure if going to the MT09 would be a upgrade
It's a lot smoother in low rev's compared to the GSXS750. Much less aggressive riding position, so because of the much more comfortable. It's more nimble and easier to turn side to side(it's lighter). It has MUCH more low rev torque and throttle response is much better as well. It's an incredible upgrade in terms of tech as well, and with the Brembo brakes that's a lot better as well. Don't get me wrong- I LOVE my GSX- but this 2024 mt09 sp is just a newer machine with up to date tech and functionalities. If you go from the GSXS750 you'll feel a significant upgrade just like I did. See my latest video on more of this.
The light that flashes in the top left of the dash is your indicator that you can use the quickshifter up or down. And yes you can adjust the quickshifter range as high or low in the RPMs for when you want the quickshifter and light to be engaged. Safe riding, CONGRATS AND PLEASE GET SOME GEAR TO COVER YOUR SKIN. SQUIDS DIE EVERYDAY BECAUSE THEY DONT WEAR GEAR. BTW, fellow MT-09 and I love the hell outta my bike. Stay safe & ride smart.
Nice bike! It appears you have not yet been in a bike accident. I hope you dont have any incidents dressed like that. I know it's hot there, but bro..! cover up man. Gloves and boots at least. You are in big trouble without the use of your hands and feet.
Do not waste your time watching this. I found this video in the search results because I am considering the same bike. In this video you are treated to an uninformed and unskilled rider being a danger to himself and others. Boring and blabbers on about nothing. I did not finish the video and cannot recommend it.
He goes off topic yes but what from this video makes u think he is unskilled? On public city road during break in period this is a casual first impression video don't be so upset
