His confidence and seriousness definitely saved him. From what I’ve lived, “street people” like these will respect you if you show you are brave, but respectful aswell. If you follow their rules and guidelines, they will respect you. If he had showed he was nervous (which he was) the whole trip could’ve gone very, very differently.

Just came back from Mexico, went with my parents and wife for vacation. My parents own a house near the ocean. Had a great time 😊 just don't go looking for trouble and you SHOULD be just fine. And remember, cartel LITERALLY OWN EVERYTHING.

SO, after watching all 3 of your videos I can say you are legit lucky to be home alive. People in Mexico don't drive their cars across country like we do in US so they do not know a water pump is out until they are half way up the mountain from the coast on their way back to Mexico City (My mechanic shop was at the first stop light on the way up that mountain and we would sit there every day and push cars into our shop to replace a thermostat, water pump, or even replace a head gasket if they were lucky). Interesting to watch and kudos to you for gaining enough trust and respect to get the interview. I just want to point out during the interview at multiple times, he asked you to listen to what was important about Respect and codes of conduct in his view and in the world he operates in versus being fixated on getting all of your questions in and answered in the way you planned to..i.e. he was trying to coach you to take a perceptive approach. At times your youth and enthusiasm added to adrenalin for getting the interview and covering the topics/questions you wanted makes you come across as not as maturely picking up some of the signals he was sending to you and what he was conveying about his philosophy on codes of conduct, relative morality, etc. but he expressed himself very well either directly or through nuance. Glad I watched it and this was the first video of your's I have viewed so maybe your approach is more calibrated in other interviews you have done.

When asking hitman about a school, I’ve noticed how he placed his hands on his chest and admitting that he wasn’t actually “cool” in school. I think it speaks a lot for what he has become, cause probably there been some bullying stuff or maybe he was average kid without many friends. These factors and other things probably affected him somehow. Just to clarify, a lot of aspects in childhood makes us become who we are in adulthood. It’s just my opinion, no offence to anyone, peace ✌️

This really did takes balls, my respect goes out to Arab and his crew, before he even got to interview this dude they could have easily ended his life, because of the simple fact that he’s filming and cameras draw attention, or he could have filmed in a area where cartel activity is going on without realizing and it would have ended there. As it goes for the hit man, I agree with him that when you do something for the first time and keep doing it, after a while you stop caring especially if it’s considered a job and pays well. I know some people who have joined that life do it because they want to provide for their families, in mexico theirs poverty, and most jobs out there don’t pay much.

This is why I take the republican stance on the border situation. Crazy GTA level stuff goes on down there on a day to day basis. So if you have an open border then cartels and gangs can enter the U.S, and believe me you don’t want that to happen. Because if that happens then our neighborhoods will be owned by gangs, and violence, and drugs will become worse and worse. I don’t think anyone wants a country where there’s violence everywhere and you aren’t allowed the right of safety.

As a formal cartel member, I can almost 100% say this is not a big cartel or any cartel for that matter, I was born and raised in Reynosa Tamaulipas, which is territory of three different cartels, CDG, being the biggest one.I started as a guardia which is nothing more than a lookout or a scout after that I ended up being a central, which is the one that takes care of the Guardias, and eventually got onto the operativa , which makes you a hitman for the cartel del Golfo. In these videos, they only show very small artillery, and talk about some stupid rules that don’t even make sense to me. For starters, the cartel uses AK-47 usually also M4, M16 . For heavier Tillery, you’re talking about browning, mini me, RPG, Barrett 50 BMG, and Lanza papas or better known as grenade launchers, they also carry belts with hand grenades taped around for security purposes, and for protective equipment, you usually have ballistic plate carriers with the double plate on each side, military helmets, and military uniforms. Something else he said, was that one of the rules was to mention the word cartel, which in reality it’s not true the number one way to get away with what you want to do is let people know who you are and who do you represent, the federales will pull you over if you’re speeding, but if you let them know who you with, it’s a whole different story, they instantly regret what they did, and let you go on your way. The guys that come out in this video look more like gangsters than cartel members, the way they dress and speak is very different from cartel members. You wanna see some real cartel footage from Mexico? There are several documentaries that CNN provided where though I am retired and left that life long time ago I recognize the reality and sincerity of the video.
