Day 4: The Bonneville Salt Flats, UT 1 - Utah 2010 

I've been meaning to hold out on this series and watch the whole thing in one or two sittings...My short term memory isn't what it once was hahah...but this episode struck a personal chord with me....great stuff Reb =) ...oh and P.S...I licked the salt too =)

We were on a road trip and driving through there today. I didn't realise it was salt until I asked, "why is there snow on the plains, but not the mountains? And why is the snow powdery, but not cold?" that's when I realised that it was salt, so we had to pull over and check it out. I ran out there. It was amazing. I wish everyone can experience it.

I don't know why, but I really liked rt 80 across the flats. There was something hypnotic about it.

i was kinda hoping you would go fast out there and do what you could on your single cylinder adventure bike hahha.... but that just looked amazing to be there and at such a vast wide open space

Soo, Bonneville! Could you smell the speed fragrance in that place? Did you do a speed test with your bike and got into the 200 mph club? Ride safe! Imagine how much rice we could cook with all that salt! OMG
